If you fuck with the brightness and contrast, it says July 16 up at the top. But it also looks like Doey's coming out of a phone or tablet screen, so this is being dismissed as just being about a Chapter 4 mobile port.

It's funny because every time a cop dies to like a serial killer in a horror movie, that's the point in my mind where the civilians are arguably safer because one that dude fails to report back, more cops are going to show up with the mindset that there is something dangerous there.
Also more movie characters, if there's some kind of monster or weird creature attacking them, should just say there's a guy with a gun running around shooting people.

The factory in the game almost certainly wasn't the only factory Playtime Co had, but realistically was the one that had all of the devious shit going on. So imagine being an employee of some other factory after the hour of joy where all communication from the main building ceased and as the days go by, more and more info about what went on there came out.
