In general they really nailed with making the characters unique. Unfortunately it's ass cancer to play, but yeah combos and characters are fun
The more unique you make a character, the more lopsided matchups get and in general the less fun they are to play against, so you end up with games that your character is incredibly fun to play but all characters are incredibly unfun to play.
