honestly it goes back to the kinect, it killed all prior momentum the 360 had so that microsoft could dedicate everything to something which only really appealed to the super casual wii sports market which would've never sustained it. literally the only thing microsoft ever talked about in regards to the 360 past 2010 was the kinect, even FM4 and FH1, some of the few real games they released during that time, had to shoehorn its inclusion in somewhere
