Can I 30* the tower with these?
The answer is obviously yes but I can't, I started a bit over a month ago so I'm far from having optimal builds or gameplay.
I managed to solo the middle tower with carte but I'm struggling on the bosses of the other two towers. No signature weapons.
Any recommendations on who to focus on, who to level and so on, I've been in the carlotta/carte/cia/rover mines for what seems like years and I haven't touched anyone else since.

If you have high sequence nodes on your 4*s you can even solo some tower parts with them.

What I'm seeing from this, is that they don't want the character to be too reliant on those buffs from a support character, so they make sure there's a little bit of diminishing returns by having the same type of buff already included in the dps character's base kit.
Old characters NEEDS Moonlit + Rejuvenating Glow buff
New character NEEDS Echo hits(?) in Phrolova's case, and Aero Erosion for Cartwheel

WuWa CC's just screeching at HSR stuff again while WuWa flops towards the end of 2.4 kind of tells you how 1.X era dead in the water the game is right now. They can say what they want, but 2.4's been disappointing as shit outside of as usual the visual stuff in the main story quest, skyboxes (this game loves it's unique skyboxes) and some of the map design, which is the only thing this game does consistently well still. Even that is starting to feel like they just have a formula for it all capping off with a Western artist insert song and the characters staring wistfully off into the sunset and is starting to feel repetitive in the absence of a truly compelling story. Even the Phrolova exploration quest I just did last night with the old gladiator dude and annoying Kerasaur boss fight barely gave any actual insight into the character.
I'll give 2.5 some credit if god forbid characters like Cartethyia or Lupa that they've already sold appear in it at all or heck if literally any character besides Phrolova appears much in it and has dialogue with you. As it is this game is feeling like a fucking sham and like the first few months of 2025 were a mirage that's propped up by a militant CC's constantly pumping it's tires and downplaying it's competition to make it sound like it's better than it is, even as I can see the writing on the wall with how many people seem to be playing it at the moment and how badly the Lupa banner is doing. The fact that I got super lucky on gacha rolls and have a pretty cracked team to make the game play fun is the main reason I'm still playing it probably.

>>530985126If you truly don't want to roll fro Brant (even though he is one of the most fun and universal resonators and he's playstyle feels like you are Levi from Attack on Titan) then you should roll for Ciaccona to complete the Aero team. You could also roll for Zhezhi for Carlotta, but it is not a must. What you need is elemental coverage, to make sure you can use any buffs in any game mode. Your teams:
-Aero: Cartethyia, Aero Rover
-Fusion: Lupa, Changli
-Glacio: Carlotta
-Spectro: Phoebe, Zani
This means you need a Havoc team and an Electro team. Since you will use Aero rover, you might want to build someone who is not Havoc Rover. Your best bet would be Cammelya, since she can be used with Sanhua a 4* and she can use Emerald of Genesis. For Electro, Yinlin and Xinagli Yao are too expensive, they need both their weapons and they are cluncky, I would rather wait for Augusta or patch 3.0 and Electro Sentinel Resonator.
