Afaik you can get Maximum Over Trust or Cart Boost from Headgears, or could roll a weapon with like double attack or some other cool effect.

try to get at least a few of the base stat cards relevant to your class like str, agi, dex or whatever. grab a cheap undershirt+pantie set if you're fleemaxxing. get dark frame card ASAP and you can use that to farm minibosses, two per day. this can be used to kill dragon fly and get two clips which have their random rolls on them, among other things.
if you're spamming skills and using strawberries, royal jelly or whatever, get the relevant '+x% restore with y type of items' cards
past that, just go for what seems useful. neutral resist is pretty much always good, max sp and sp recovery cards super good. make use of the maps of the day when you can. there are often parties people recruit for just to farm those.

I realize a huge difference between official and private servers: In official servers you kill 3 times the mobs because you're always dividing the exp with a large party. The volume of kills is so much higher it's crazy. You're always on agi up, with buffs, killing monsters in one or two hits.

Here's my card outlook doing the generic party leveling in LATAM with a handful of characters:
I have 4 Spore cards, 2 Orc Warrior cards, 1 hode card, 2 roween cards, 3 venatu cards.
The craziest map is magdun, I have 4 Blazer cards, 2 Diabolik cards, 2 Nightmare terror cards and 2 Deleter cards, 10 cards from 1 single map.
I also have 3 Centipede cards, 2 Tatacho cards, and 1 Mountain Lion card, 6 cards from one map.

The difference in the partying scene justifies having a triple card drop rate relative to the exp rate in private servers. In the actual game you're actually getting cards from every place you level up at, the card drop feels like a seamless feature of just getting extra stuff from the spots you level up at.

So, let me get this straight, in order to use these skills to better hang out with a friend that is new to the game, I must get a second friend, propose him into a gay marriage, and pretend to be fag husband and wife with him, just to get the first friend handy teleportation skills to help him not get lost. Also since we'll both be lvl 70 we'll not be leveling side by side with the friend, who'll receive a massive 30% penalty to HP and SP, only making it harder for him.

Even though it's through the cards and not directly on the class, CCRo made all the correct changes to Alchemist to make it all really fun, useful in parties and strong enough to hold its own weight but not strong enough to solo anything too important.

Ragna/v/s sp regen increase is actually the worst part about the server. It forces everyone to spam skills making specific classes completely busted while at the same time ruining the sp item market.

Somewhat true, people funneling mats into me just means I can both make stuff for everyone to use and make my own to actively use as well, so of course it helps with not having to spend entire hours or days gathering mats.

If I was soloing I would only worry about making enough for myself, which I don't use nearly as much because the Homun helps me save on my own HP / SP / Zeny usage, I only really go all out on potion throwing when partying.

But like, I'm not only talking about the crafting, even though that alone feels great with it being 2x and not having to need Vanilmirth, but I'm also talking about the plants being invul, geo healing while attacking, AT and Demonstration hitting harder, Demonstration being usable under enemies, Homun leveling faster and slowly growing in power with me, and 50% chance to not consume plants / bombs / marine spheres, it all adds up to making a really nice seamless experience instead of forcing me to feel like I only exist to give FCP.

I want to play the class and feel useful both for myself and for parties without being able to solo the entire late game, but still fare quite fine by myself up to a decent point, as any class should.

Ragna goes to both extremes, you either play solo and it's nothing but feeling useless and having a frustrating experience with all the negative changes, or you get a priest to protect you at all times and make you a half-functional to extremely busted class. Either way, it's not a great experience.
