I was not a big fan of RiseBreak but even I could admit that the game was good. This is a disgusting fraud, and if you think they will optimize this piece of crap, you are lying to yourself. They will add some content and move to the equally expensive DLC. I am extremely disappointed in Capcom, do not buy this game if you like monster hunter. It is an insult to everything this franchise was.

It's a combination of melee and ranged. So the buffs were an incentive to teach players to get better at aiming for certain key parts like wings, legs, head, etc. The point being it would be something you're doing anyway so why not reward you for it with buffs. You're acting like it's some additional random thing when it's part of the weapon's design. Despite that they've made it easier for people like you to avoid the system as much as possible and you still complain. It's like playing lance and doing everything you can to avoid blocking. I mean sure it's possible evade lancing was a thing but you're missing the whole point of the weapon

It would probably go a long way towards keeping people playing the game since stuff can change from hunt to hunt but it might be annoying when differences fuck up people's muscle memory in a fight
