generally the best way to practice anything is to increase the difficulty and play at the edge of your ability. get out of your comfort zone, be uncomfortable, get frustrated. quality practice means as many reps as possible where you're pushing your error rate

unicorn medallion is pretty much objectively better than default, but it's also something that can be kinda contextual and, either way, up to personal preference whether to use or not. the important thing is to make your decision and stick with it.
gloves are just good. cooldown reduction is good.
jewel beetle is also really good, kinda high risk high reward. throws are better than slams (especially at the edge of the map where you can m1 right after for a free down), but also jewel beetle will cuck you out of hits in some spots

yep, I played at a lower mmr on purpose to have a chill time, matching with full SWFs is rare so I've gotten pretty good at sniffing out when a team is coordinated and whether it's just good game sense or through communication
in that particular game, the hints were already there from the pick and while I played backpack sadako for fun, I thought it was a particularly good counter to this team so I ran with it
game started and since the map was tiny, I found them all on one gen in seconds and as luck would have it, got a gen grab
cue the swf's immediate retaliation trying every tactic in the book without thought, bodyblocking, flashing, etc while making the critical mistake that lost them the game, not recognizing mad grit
I said less than 30 seconds but it was probably between 40s to 60s when I look back again and of course the team was as aggressive in chat as ingame, another sure sign it was a SWF since I play on steam with crossplay

I'm convinced that many dogshit unhooks done right in front of the killer are not done out of incompetence, but because the guy doing it is BP farming and simply doesn't care. It's why if you watch killer streamers with huge winstreaks(the closest thing we have to a "their MMR is probably high" indicator) you will STILL see people unhook right in front of the killer then run off to let the rescued guy get chased again.

Cleansing 2-3 non-hex totems gets you nearly as many points as escaping. One of these options needs you to run around the map and not be blind. The other one requires you have a competent team. Guess which one would be your priority when you're BPmaxxing?

You can farm BP so ridiculously easy doing certain things that postgame score is totally irrelevant.

Hey bros. One of my friends was interested in DBD and bought the game. I tried to arm him with game knowledge in the hopes he would win enough of his first games/avoid losing enough of his first games that his MMR won't end up in an inescapable hellpit like mine. Also like me he'd already consumed DBD content so I thought he had a good chance of not ending up like me as long as he queued alone.

His very first game a Feng Min followed him around from the instant they spawned in and that faggot blew up every gen he tried to work on. No audio because of her Technician perk. Just a dedicated griefer we guessed. He lost that match and I had already told him about my MMR experiences so he refunded the game.

I'm still playing matches where I solo repair 3-4 gens. Watching teammates crouch doing nothing for 2 minute at a time using Bond or KIndred. I can get Hatch escapes but my MMR won't rise that way, and Gate escapes are totally impossible. I'm out of hope and uninstalling. Goodbye bros it was not fun while it lasted.

I don't either, it's kind of weird to make a tier list based on the worst possible situation a killer could be in. If you're factoring in extremes why wouldn't you also factor in their best possible situation? Which for GF I guess would be on one of his strong indoor maps against 4 solos which makes him pretty fucking strong. Or be normal and just average it based on actually playing a the game and say like yeah Ghostface is a pretty good killer that sometimes trips up against more coordinated teams.
