Only issue is that if you are using mods, many mods rely on resources from the DLC's to work, like textures/models/animations/etc that they borrow. You can honeslty just leave the main DLCs in the game and they dont bother you with anything until you actually wander to those areas to start doing them.

Im using tons of mods, but I removed all the new creation club shit the "next gen" update added like having enclave for no reason and getting spammed with a million popups about creation club quests every time you start a game. Its annoying, and all just awful fanmade mods.

Everything on this list I just cut out, and now the bloated intrusive creation club shit never bothers me, and I just have the base game and the DLCs.

One thing that bothers me about FO2 is how fast the Vault Dweller’s village fell to tribalism.

Bethesda, instead of putting all this world design effort into writing a good story or loading the lore into the quests, leave all the lore in environmental subtext and implications(tm).

There is an entire story around Evergreen Mills and and the previous survivor capital of the CW, Rockopolis, "the safest place in the wasteland", that you never see in the game but is left behind in environmental clues.

This actually would be fairly realistic. They seem to be moving towards offloading 76's update content to Double Eleven full-time, while letting Skybox Labs do everything with the seasons. BGS Austin and Dallas would focus on a single-player Texas game (the TV series hinted at there being a ton of Vaults in Houston) while Maryland focused on TES6, FO3 remaster and whatever else. They also have Montreal as a support studio that could end up doing something as well.

It's interesting how, since raids can drop vulcan power armor with any 4 star legendary, you can scrap those and learn any 4-star armor mod. But the only weapons they can drop are the unique weapons. That means for the 4-star weapon effects that don't have a unique weapon, the only way to learn them is to be bold enough to scrap its box for the 1% chance to learn it.
These box-exclusive effects are

Probably hardly anyone knows these mods. Maybe someone might've scrapped one of the less-useful ones here like Fencers for the modules but it really sucks that there's no unique weapon with pounder's when that's the meta. Who would dare scrap Pounders?
Hopefully they add some more unique weapons with some of these effects in the december update, though they'll also be adding new effects at the same time.

When did they neuter the difficulty? I don't remember the game being so easy when I last played it a few years ago. Every enemy dies in 2 hits and drops 10+ rounds for whatever gun you're using

Seriously, their first idea wouldn't be so bad in a new vegas style fast swap ammo system where you could just load your ultracite bullets whenever you needed more DPS, and maybe the Prime Receiver's benefit could have been the ability to swap between normal and ultracite ammo. It doesn't work in a static ammo system like FO4/76 uses. Their second take was also fucking stupid because why would anyone use a PRIME (the best) the receiver, if it is not in fact better than other receivers? All a Prime receiver would have had to compete was bonus damage to scorched, which no one cares about. The current iteration is probably going to be what sticks because it now sits as a direct upgrade to the hardened receiver and a sidegrade of the vicious/etc. receivers that don't boost damage as much, but boost stuff like crit damage instead.

Guns are absolutely viable in Fallout London, the odd thing the game does is forces you to rely on guns that use shitty common ammo
You should always carry your best gun for special situations and also the best .32 or Shotgun to use on trash mobs

Early in the Thamesfolk quest, you get the Ferryman's Friend, early in the Vagabond's quest you get the Spy Pistol, both of them are viable .32 weapons while you wait to find an Explosive/Wounding/Plasma infused Crude Gun. Shotgun shells are the second most plentiful ammo type and you can get a Combat Shotgun shortly after level 10. There's also a revolver that fires shotgun shells in the endgame.

And of course, at heart this game is still Fallout 4. Get to level 14, build your settlement, assign a gun merchant, buy ~100 of whatever round you want in exchange for all the shit in your pockets or water you purify, sleep 24 hours and do it again. Wallah.

Hey bros, I started playing Fallout 4 again after a long time, and last time I remember using a mod that let's you have sex as a solution for some quest and interactions.

I looked it up again and I can't find it, I thought it was Vanilla Fudge but it isn't as I remembered it.

One quest that I remember was Confidence Man, in which you help Travis to gain some confidence. I remember that when Vadim tells you to get Scarlett to see Travis, there was an option to say something along the lines of "No need, i can do that myself" and you went and fucked Travis to progress the quest

Another interaction I remember was to fuck the secretary of Diamond City so that it allows you to see the mayor.

If you know the name of the mod, I'd be grateful.

Kind of, but in the usual retarded Bethesda way. Its mostly just because of random loot spawns. You can go into places that havent been opened since before the war, and find postwar loot inside like Jet.

One the one hand its a oversight by bethesda being their usual retarded selves and not thinking about making a separate loot table for prewar locations.

On the other hand it would be kind of funny because Myron was a complete shithead, and it would be completely in character for him to claim to have invented it, but he only found a prewar recipe and modified it to work for the wasteland.

Those little moments remind me of how Doom Eternal tried to look more like the original Doom than Doom 2016 or 3 did. The plasma caster is back, Floaters are back, pump action shotguns are back, service rifles are back, dynamite is back, the T51 is high end again, you can even get the NCR Ranger Armor

As long as you play every day to do the Daily Fishing you'll get enough Improved Bait to catch everything you need, and bait besides common bait becomes useless outside of catching monthly Axlotls after you complete all the unique fishing challenges, as fish recipes call for generic fish bits instead of specific fish. This means that by this time next year, all bait outside of common bait will be de facto useless for people who aren't new. Just sell all your excess bait at that point on the cheap, newfags will buy it right up at something like 10-25 caps per.

Doing a FO3 run with the Quo Vagis mod.
The whole thing involving the vip area with a trio of hags that look eternally 16 is fucking retarded for some many reasons.
The protagonist is only 19, still firmly in the age range for the girls even if they were as old as they looked.
The world got nuked, who the fuck has the time to care about age of consent in a world filled with death or slavery at every corner?
And lastly still playing coy and continuing the roleplay even as the good boy choices lead to swearing to murder the club owner so they can escape.
It really lacks a more neutral path accepting that even if it really was thepedos club they still had food, water, healthcare. a roof over their head and protection against all the bad shit out of there making their life paradise compared to what most other people had.

Are you sure you have gunslinger master equipped? If you do, then it might be the stat lock bug.
I don't know if it works like this for reverse onslaught but maybe give this a try:
