Rune is very good vs puppet for several reasons, puppet usually doesn't overwhelm rune early (which is where rune is at its weakest) and conversely rune is pretty good at pressuring puppet into spending all-important evo points early or winning the game. Go 2nd coin kuon on T6 is devastating for puppet usually

Fun fact: Shadow was the first class to receive a BUFF instead of nerfs because it was in such a dogshit unplayable state. The buff did fucking nothing and the class remains unplayable for several expansions.

The changes to vialing are asinine and the balance of the game is dubious at best. Frankly, I don't find the current swingy nature of the meta to be at all satisfying. Removal is too easy, certain threats are overtuned, and late game lethal ranges are fucking massive. If your opponent draws a decent hand, then you effectively only have like 11 "real" health.
Personally, the play patterns and pacing of the game don't feel good compared to what I consider the best metas of SV1. Yeah, we only have a very limited card pool, but the issues with it are fundamental and aren't going anywhere any time soon. They would legitimately have to alter like 2-3 cards PER CRAFT to bring it closer to something I would be happy with.
