Why can't firestorm devs implement a semi-dynamic origin point rebase for the rendering pipeline so that the origin point is always within 100 meters of your camera position?

Don't even need linden lab to do anything, just every 100 meters of camera movement recalculate the origin point for the renderer with some sanity checks for faster movements and teleports and you completely solve the problem with floating point precision errors that makes so many things look broken when moving a few thousand meters from the sim origin.
