I actually disagree with this, in theory.
A handheld device like NICOLE suits Tails more than the workshop did. If he's going to be the smartie, he should be able to have a portable means of doing his smartguy stuff.
My problem is that it's so damn ugly and clunky-looking, not at all like the mobile on-the-go tool it should be. Paramount gave it a good redesign where it more closely resembled Nicole's computer form.
Could giving it the Nicole treatment save it? I don't know, but it's already been done with Sage, and we still have to get used to the new Egg-family dynamic.

What's interesting about SA2 Super Shadow is that he's just normal Shadow with his blue-black fur inverted. Super Sonic is Sonic but with his blue fur inverted. It is a much richer blue than Shadow's, so it's a richer yellow when inverted as well.

Why does Silver get a super form anyway?
I know why out of universe, he's meant to be on-par with Sonic and Shadow, but I mean in-universe.
Shadow having a form almost exactly like Sonic's makes sense, because Shadow's base is almost exactly like Sonic's.
Silver isn't just psychic, he's physically way slower than Sonic and Shadow are, I'm not opposed to him using the emeralds to transform, I'm opposed to him having the exact same form Sonic and Shadow have.

You are not allowed to forget that Tails merged with hundreds of alternate selves and anal vored a mammoth wizard.

Sonic is cool and confident, he doesn't care what people think of him, and sticks to his ideas even if everyone else tells him he's wrong. This is a core part of the character, so it is reasonable to expect Sonic fans to appreciate this. Yet someone here tried to shame another poster for having an unpopular opinion, by saying the following:

This is sad not only for the people receiving this type of comment, but even more so for the person who said it in the first place. SA2 modding is super easy to set up. SA1 modding is a little more work, mostly because it mods the 2004 version of the game which you have to go get, not the steam version.
But modded I think both are the definitive versions of the adventure games. You get the lighting/textures from the dreamcast + the 60fps and QoL from the ports.
There's also like a 10 page super mod for the chao garden.
