Geburah isn't a good choice to start teething for Insane, is he? Like I am confident that I can beat Extreme with borrowed Satsuki, but more than triple the health on Insane seems intimidating. Cherino used to often see use as a filler on a team because she gives energy regen - if you're new then that might be worth it, even I still use her rarely.
oChinatsu isn't super common but does see use, think she was in a recent Chessed meido team.
Sakurako WAS core in blue Set and can still find a place, but is less mandatory these days.
pNoa is great in Hovercraft.
Kazusa I think saw use in places but I don't have her and I think there are enough yellow strikers she's probably not as useful.
sKarin is good for mopup teams.
sMoe is good for my dick.

Anything I've not mentioned I don't think there's much use for unless it's scraping the bottom of the barrel, though I could be wrong since I don't have bAkane etc.
It's also completely fine to not invest in them until you need them, they're all niche students so I don't think any are a mistake to leave until you need them.
