Elric isn't quite the magus:
1.It's a kind of corrupted part dark-elf, part-dragonkin, iirc part-human (talking about many many generations). A little bit of vampiric heritage, stylistically.
2. It's more like a elemental summoner than a straightforward mage/wizard/warlock (albeit is often called sorcerer). He uses herbs to cure himself from chronic illness (albinism). It's also a """cleric""" to a specific chaos god.
3. It's a mercenary warrior with a damned and damning soul sucker sword

I advise to get only the restored content mod, NOT the "droid planet" which is a separate mod, but sometimes bundled with the TSLRCM.
The droid planet is extremely dull, amateurish, and unavoidable if installed

Recruit Lann, use Evil option to tell Wenduag to fuck off during Lann's act 3 quest, accept her back in Lann's Act 5 quest.

For Wenduag, there is a reddit thread detailing how to hit her Respect/True Romance flags that is too long to summarize here. In the Act 3 quest, have her duel Lann then appeal to his Lawful side and point out he isn't really doing anything for the tribe the way he acts, then tell him to fuck off rather than kill him. Act 5 works like the above.

It's about an hour of running up and down long passages talking to various droids, solving their muddled problems, followed by an insulting stupid finale.
It's not restored content, it's fan-made content based on design notes and a few assets.
Combat is just "walk to the next room, kill the droids". However you do get to use HK-47's "talk to droid" ability at least once
As an aside, the first portion involves a radiation leak that is meant to be a green haze but doesn't work correctly and just leads to the skybox looking blank green

Nah. All that cool shit you get from artisans / polishing found relics. Usually council upgrades give you a bonus on the field (in Crusade mode, that is). And none of it really fucking matters when you have generals that cast Fireball anyway, so you can tell her to fuck off with a clean conscience.

Yes, but it's handled poorly. It seems like it will be good, when you find evidence that she's alive that leads you to the planet, but it's all downhill from there
Mainly it just drags out and is artificially padded with running. It almost made me quit the game, but that's just my experience. It's really not integral at all, it's entirely a sidequest planet.
On the plus side, there's a good amount of droid combat, and one of your companions is perfect for this.
There is an underlying neat idea there, but you'll be using Force Speed to make the running tolerable

Honestly this was my experience, sadly. Demon path required too many Stupid Evil choices to follow properly. It doesn't feel like a commander angry at injustice that's falling to their darker side to find the power to fight demons and eventually shakes it off before irredeemably falling. Depends on the difficulty. Normal and below, just about anything is fine. Above that and you'll need to plan your builds out more. Crusader is probably my favorite archetype because the cleric can lean heavily into a martial focus and still have a ton of important buff spells to use. Granted, you're not going to get the same effect as a dedicated martial like paladin or fighter, but the spells make up the difference. I'd say Community is the best domain for crusader because Guarded Hearth is a force multiplier in tough fights.

Cassia is a princess. She's smart, rich, tall, powerful, and her questline even makes her become Novator. Her face is very pretty in a conventional sense. She has a cute courtship romance where she does not randomly bring up her ex boyfriends or anything of the sort. She is, by all means, the exact sort of relationship you people have asked for, yet you STILL complain because 40k as a setting has mutants and she is one of the more interesting mutants that are actually important to the Imperium so they embellished her character with that lore. Rather than being interested, you're just a shallow monkeybrain who says "a few superficial mutations? EWWWWWW" like a kindergartener.

Then there's Kibellah. Same thing. The setting features a strong religious dogma theme and this is a character who was raised from infancy in the cult, so her story is obviously being about the wrestle between fanaticism vs individualism. You can guide her in either direction, the writers have you an extreme level of influence over her, more so than is even realistic some might say, yet you STILL get people saying stuff like "her religion involves ritual scarification, just like many religions in real life? EWWWWWW".

This is legit one of the biggest faults of the game, half the fun of the ttrpg is owning like 30 planets and doing absolutely crazy retarded shit with your wealth.

There are several planets I would liked to be colonies, and I fully expected the fuedal world in the dlc to be one but it wasn't. I expect them to add another colony in one of the next dlc's, it's such an obvious thing to do since there are so few and it's one of the fun parts of the game.

I also expect some other type of nonhuman companion. I expect we will interact with Trazyn's archive in some way, and that we will recruit someone there. Not neccessarily a necron, it can be anything since he collects everything. It could be a slann, or an ancient robot, or any other minor xenos.

I realized that the reason why Overseer is so cool and fun and so well done is because of Dark Heresy. Both Corsairs and Kroot have pet units, including your Kroot companion. They needed this mechanics for DH. Overseer is either backported to RT or was made with DH in mind

Also, after playing on Unfair+ where I actually experienced some difficulty for some time and had nice exchanges of fire and duels, had to utilize map and chokepoints, rethink my strategy and restart battles I too realized something. Cool battles take some time to play and game is already reaaaaally long. The fact that you can alpha strike everything now makes playing it bearable, but if they fix the balance and then add those two more dlcs (or more) getting through RT will be a really daunting task.
Might be why Dark Heresy is supposed to be shorter as well. Maybe they are planning to make more dlcs for it so base game can't be this long again.
