I played pretty much nonstop. I think i have like 70 cards now. Pure solo - hunter. Its pretty fun. Im a RO casual but i know how to look up stuff.
I went to the desert, wanted to kill some muka and casually found a dragon fly when 3 people were already warping around the map, killed it and got the card and a clip. I never got a clip before. Stayed there for a bit and got two more. Very cool.
I did as you said and got the dark frame card - which was an insane stealth mission. Got it after 2 deaths.

if you aim to get all cards - goblin and kobold leaders both have singular spawns and very ass to farm because they are camped, but u need either traps or levels to take them down comfortably also chepet
get vocal asap for +2 DEX, he has two normal maps spawn and one in prontera maze (alongside other suno minis, wanna farm them too) and very easy to take down
you get TWO minis in one dark frame floor, wanna walk around to find second, figured this out hard way...
just dont try soloing something ridiculous like hydrolancer, arc angeling or thanatos ghosts, you should be fine with the rest but you wanna check them in real world scenario first

Dark Frame allows you to fight mini-bosses, not MvPs.
Type @dailyboss to see the list of bosses you can fight and go for one you don't have the card but could help you, since you said you're a Hunter then maybe something like Vocal for Dex, but do look at the page card database on the website, and see what each boss gives and which ones you feel confident on fighting against that can also help you in some way.

Don't sell the card coins, people offer only like 50k tops (basically they're scamming new players) and you can make that zeny and more in less than 1 minute of killing wolves or whatever option zeny option.
>What to do with them
Use the coins to buy a mount, then gym passes (up to 10 times), then reset items (only use after you get anopheles card though), and then you can keep them on you for either respawning MvPs later on, removing runes from your equipment or to buy bubblegum for farming specific items.

Homunculi are strong but not as strong as you may think they'd be even with Angeling card, they are basically amazing shields and can clean low - mid tier mobs, but won't be able to kill anything high lvl without your help. But then again, they will become far stronger the more cards you have, so maybe a 400+ Homunculus can be kind of ridiculous, who knows.

Hard to say, they excel at different stuff, with Knight you can tank more, specially if you get the Parry low headgear enchant, with Assa you are far more squishy but may have better dmg, and can also play as a bolt build with 2x elemental swords, just not everywhere.

It just smashes its head into things...forever...for weak damage

My current understanding is that the bulk of what makes Homunculus AI programmable is cooked onto the client, not on the server. Would it be possible to have homunculi that is 100% manual and with no AI behavior? Possibly, but it's beyond my current abilities to do so.

Her Ultimate actually lasts a pretty decent amount of time (5 mins) and it also fully heals her, you pick her to be a more support focused chemist, she's great in PvE, solo MvP and WoE because you can reposition faster than anyone, she can heal the Alch a good chunk for the cheap cost of red slims, and on her ult she can mob and kill decently by herself. Basically, the best Homun for Creos that actually like playing the game.

What's wrong with that is that it's used as an excuse for the class being fine, when in reality you could pair almost any DPS class with a priest and they will also look good.
What's also wrong is that you now need a priest for things that you were able to do without, is understandable if there's a need for high lvl / end-game areas, but not for your daily grind.
Is fine that a priest can help a class go a few steps further, but not that it's needed for the class to function.
And sure, they did start at 0 MvP cards, but the fact that it's a Creo that has multiple of them obviously makes them look way stronger if you were to compared them to any other Creo on the server, which is what Dev often does, he uses this Creo with a very particular context around them to compare to the rest of the players of the class and then exclaim that his changes are fine or good, which isn't very fair.

Angeling respawns every 1 to 1.5 hours, but people said that mini-boss spawn is halved, so it should be every 30 to 45 mins.
Also mini-boss doesn't have tombstones, but if you want better chances, get a Dark Frame card and do @dailyboss then find whatever number Angeling is.

creamy gives level 1 teleport, same as its typical card counterpart. otherwise, early targeted cards might be vitata and other +base stat cards, maybe atk or matk depending on what you're playing. dark frame gives an easy two minibosses per day

most of the monk exclusives are making it so you don't get sp from card bonuses or assassins don't get matk (for bolter builds)
gunslinger, ninja, rogue, and alchemist get some pretty big buffs

runes are available via a sort of gacha system. i think it was base price 150k for a random box and 200k for a specific gear rune before discount. money is pretty easy to farm if you make anything that can kill incubi or mavkas well enough. even desert wolves are pretty okay money.
