Ryzeal pre-mitsubishi was a deck that could do its plays in like 5 minutes tops, yet "pros" dragged out the combos for 30+ and summoned fucking gagaga cowboy instead of abyss dweller/literally any other R4NK just to burn LP and pass turn to the opponent with 15 minutes on the clock. The main thing Master Duel has going for it is the automation which can be a blessing and a curse. The game actually telling you when effects can and must be activated is amazing when it comes to learning new decks and not causing a ton of illegal activations and missed mandatory triggers, but relying on that too much can be a detriment. Been playing everyday since then.
At first I've spent most of my time playing Exodia, since it was my first deck (thanks to an anon advising me to join the unstoppable army or else...).
It was fun.

It was also fun.
The release of Maliss was also very fun.
But despite that, recently I'm not having fun with Master Duel anymore.

Besides the obvious plant tranny stuff, dryas isn't a hard OPT.

Limiting dryas makes the plant pile deck weaker to extra deck rips and a handtrap could potentially make a weaker board as 30%+ of the deck is just turboing out the loci from the deck for full combo.

If anything, jasmine is the most broken plant card, but konami won't limit it for whatever reason.

Protos being searchable is basically a wincon most of the time.

Most tenyi stuff cards are cheap to slap in, but the yang zing extra deck staples I think is what really elevates the going second plays. Baxia and Yazi are very good cards at breaking boards.

Also while not everyone's cup of tea, there are other builds you can do as to get the most value of the structure deck;
Ryu-Ge can be played with Swoso and is arguably the best variation of Ryu-Ge
You can build an all gas superheavy, zefra, yang zing wrym pile, aka denglong turbo.
Centurion Swoso is another deck as well, can't say it's that amazing.

Just running Millenium is enough. Kashtira and Speedroids introduce bricks into the deck. If you draw more than one Kashtira monster the other is basically useless. Kashtira + Millenium might be okay since if you draw Birth there's a chance you can mill something useful like a Fenrir. Fiendslop is marginally better since you run only Sanct, Engraver and Lacima in the main deck and the chance of bricking on them is much lower.
