They know you'll use it in the shop, but won't have enough for another full bundle, and will end up spending even more money to get enough to buy the bundle you want. It works extremely well on collabs, but they've gotten too greedy with them doubling up per season and no freebies to help with the purchasing cost of both per season. Getting the 80 prisms from the pass at least requires a time investment, so not all is lost, even if it's given away for $20 instead of $40, or however you feel like dividing up the math on 80 mythics and 2k coins + whatever "value" the bpass skins held for you. People will either dump the prisms on that season's mythics, or the weapon. If someone mains or likes both, they end up buying the $40 weapon bundle and do prisms on the skin + may even buy more for the aspects, which is another $40 for both.
