IIRC recalibration just resets your confidence to 0 so you will start from Herald where you are, yes. But it's your one ticket to jump a few hundred/thousand MMR in one go. You're at 600 and spiraling so you have nothing to lose IMO. Once you're confident you can solo carry more games than not, go do it. Worst case, you stay in Herald where you already are.

Playing ranked is going to require you to queue all-roles even if you don't like it. And no, you're not going to get 3-4-5 every time in this day and age. Especially in lower ranks where everybody's a hardstuck support shitter who wants a mid to come carry them every game.

This is a basic skill all 5 players on the team need to know and apply regularly though... What do you think the purpose of creep pulling is, for example? You're going to have to deal with the enemy supports blocking your camps, getting in your way, cutting creeps, taking towers, etc. all in the first 5-10 mins.
