Also, I really question "Fact Over Fiction Reborn"'s claim here. She provided no evidence that Collective Shout was behind Containment Breach's removal from Steam. From what I can tell, Collective Shout is some feminist group that's all about banning porn, and specifically objectification of women. SCP-173 is not a woman and the game doesn't contain anything like that. SCP:CB was very recently removed from Steam, it seems, so I imagine the removal is due to the copyright issues surrounding the likeness of SCP-173 which have caused problems for SCP games for years. Remember that the original picture was removed even from the SCP Wiki, so it definitely would've caused problems on Steam.

part of my issue with these kinds of "retakes" is that theres basically nothing in the game itself to indicate that this has anything to do with the blue pendrive
as a retake you have to take great care to both separate yourself from the original but also not stray too far away from it

its very easy to know exactly where a story is going when its already based on something else but straying too far from the source material like this can make it almost completely unrecognizable, and in fact literally the only thing similar between the blue cartridge and the story its based on is the countdown section
