How I understand the supports work.
Every character has a support slot. You slap the support unit on your SS and it gives it 10% of its stats as supports stats. All the natural stats increases count, shit like equipment don't. You can use the same character to support itself, but not the exact same SS. If it's a new "resonance SS" rarity, it can also get a special passive from special resonance support units. Resonance support units are the last released unit of every character on jp, like diva Ruka or swimsuit Megumi.

Fields are a big part of the games as well, and absolutely mandatory. They are multipliers. Only difference is that the enemy actually sometimes uses their own fields and there's ways to not make them easily overwritable, though certain characters (and almost all of those enemies) can force remove the field.

And that's not the only thing. Mind Eye comes from there as well. The hit buff also exists and is extremely good for different reasons: Damage cap. Hit buff is the only way to actually buff past the damage cap, adding 1 hit with the power of the first hit of an attack.

Every nerf so far, was also a buff in other ways. Like the turn based duration change, where they made it not stack with count. Seira got a pretty heavy compensation. They made her ex cheaper, doubled the crit damage value and made it lose its use limit, so you can spam this 9 cost 5 turn party wide 100% crit + 60% crit damage move forever. This is definitely more useful than the old one that could stack but not be spammed in at least SOME environments.

Same goes for the hit buff change. No longer being able to auto attack was a direct nerf to dark Tsukasa, as she could generate OD with her own hit buffs she doesn't need anyways. But there's also the upside, you don't lose the hit buff on chars where it DOES matter anymore.

There are no upsides now. Fields are worse. Mind eye and fragile is worse. Hit buffs are worse. Every single blaster is worse. They need to buff all of the effected chars in other ways if they hope for this to not lead into everyone just leaving. And of course, this means in the end nothing would change. But that's the curse of gacha. You don't nerf, thus you creep.

It's a mixture. They completely remade difficulties. There are only 40 now, but the same "name" of difficulty is generally much harder because a higher border.

Max level has recommended party power of 32000, and the enemy has 750 stats. This is impossible. I think even with everything lb4, daphne max level soul etc, you won't reach this high.
Well, I say impossible. You can win with a def buff and HIGH LBs, as I showed before, but the damage is giga scuffed now, so getting the score is MUCH MUCH harder now.

I'm not sure. I compared it to the previous one, and the difficulty that would give you the closest points to now (it's actually quite a bit less because there's a huge jump between 36 and 35) still has a border increase of a whopping 150. (500->650)
We don't even remotely get 150 stats from this weird linking. Maybe 30-40, that's it.

I have a feeling this is just entirely untested or there's a part 2 planned that will now obviously be delayed.
It's not the first time WFS upped the SA difficulty. Main difference always was, that they NEVER changed how existing difficulties worked, and as such you would never get a worse score by simply sticking to what you did before. And often times with SA changes also came level changes, so you got more stats to fight the higher SA. Once the stats came first, once later, but only like 1 months or so.
Global never quite experienced this, but traditionally SA basically always required LB1 at the very least with a full def set if you wanted to have a good chance to stay alive vs. high difficulty SA, outside of those respective short periods where either that wasn't enough or you didn't need it.

Now similar to the entire rebalance, this time SA changed so fundamentally that you can't do anymore what worked before: Stay on your difficulty while getting the same score. COMPLETELY ASIDE of the damage formula change. Even if they completely revert every single change, SA would still be severally harder to the point a significant player base buff SHOULD be given.


tl;dr: This SA change is just like the balance change. It completely shits on everything established and while WFS did dumb things in the past, it was never THIS dumb. They always respected that with the same difficulty you should get the same score as before, and only added a new, harder level. This time they made everything harder, on top of the damage nerfs...

I don't particularly care for Aoi.

Yes, it is definitely silly. The fact my lb 4 Bungo with max level takes 6k damage with a 53% defense buff (aka over 12k damage without) is quite something.

Mind you, this attack is supposed to be busted. Even with a matched border you'd take 5600 damage into your face without using a defense boost. The def orbs can reduce this to ~4k which is BARELY something you can live without breaking. That is assuming you didn't tick the "enemy deals 15% more damage" option, which will give you a chance to break.

This truly wants to simulate how important it was that Aoi tanked this originally. Just that this probably flies by most that attempt this due to the massive border increase and the resulting EXTREME damage on top of what's intended. Past turn 1, Aoi can obviously catch every single of these nukes, which makes the fight a lot easier past this.

Really? I feel like it's pretty easy to minmax when you can reroll every proc separately. I played games in the past where there were like 4 different stats on an accessory and when you upgrade it, only one of them would randomly increase. And the amount of upgrades was limited, so you had to pray to every god that it would proc on the exact same stat like 6 times in a row. And if it didn't proc at least 4 times, it was garbage. And there was rng on the amount of increase too, so it was possible to get bad accesories even if it proc'd.

My problem isn't the rng, that's pretty easy to overcome. My issue is the AWFUL upkeep on it. When you switch members in a team it keeps the accessories on them, there is no remove all function to clear out everything. So you're now going through every team you've created trying to figure out who has equipped what. Not to mention different characters of the same role want different stats so you secretly need dupes of some gear with different rolls. You also can't bulk craft so you're sitting there clicking through the same menu over and over.

Anon. This might come as a shock but. Equipment is per team. Every single piece you have can be used by any team once. Yes, this means even in multi team content you can have the exact same accessory on one char in team 1 and on one char in team 2.

It's about as good as it can be. Make team preset, equip, and forget. You can use any preset as is, without needing to ever change anything (unless you wanna swap something of course).

thats not what hes saying, he's talking about how say if you put your DPS equipment on say Ruka SS1, and in that SAME team, switch Ruka to Yuri SS1 and this hit auto equip inside of Yuri's equipment, it doesnt remove equipment from Ruka, it equips Yuri with whatever is left

The only things you can do is use auto equip ALL which might mess up your gear because auto equip is stupid, or manually unequip Ruka

This isn't true. If a char isn't in the team, their equip will be auto equipped. If it doesn't, then it's worse as far as auto equip is concerned.
