The farmers, or establishment that owns the cattle, should still have all the matching documentation and paperwork to go with the brand.
Sneaking onto some other farm or whatever and branding random livestock yourself and acting like you own it doesn't work like that.

Darkspear Trolls and the Tauren
In both cases, Vol'jin and Cairne dying was bad for their respective races because they had literally no other characters.

Baine is pathetic and Rokhan is a total no name. Yeah I get that he was Rexxar's companion in WC3 but after that ends, they don't develop him whatsoever even when he's reintroduced in Wrath, he's just a generic elite NPC.

Darkspear are way cooler than Zandalari too, IMO. I love how they are morally grey and fully worship and revere Bwonsamdi while Zanda fags have a stick up their ass about their golden morality. Just pure hubris: the race. We wuz Kings n sheeiiiit.

Darkspear Trolls got fucked over with having their leader killed off without doing anything on screen as Warchief and replaced with Rokhan who while I like Rokhan, doesn't get much to do in the grand scheme of things.
Forsaken got fucked over by being way too tied into Sylvanas for years and when she quit the Horde, they were left in a mess where they needed to act like they had a bunch of developed characters ready to lead which left them with a council with Voss who while I like, isn't exactly who you think of when you think of when you think leaders and Calia an Alliance NPC. And their one unique thing, Dark Rangers given to the Alliance just cause.
Tauren got fucked over by having most of their actual storylines involving Baine cut expansion after expansion ever since Baine got promoted to leader after Carine died in a book.
Blood Elves have sorta been narratively fucked over thanks to the existence of Void Elves, but not as bad as the previous 3 listed Horde races.
Orcs are fine. Worst thing to happen to the Goblins is more of an issue with how they've been handling Bilgewater. Pandaren don't do jack shit. As far as allied races are concerned, Zandalari got kinda fucked over for the same exact reasons the Darkspear did with Talanji arguably getting a Baine tier treatment.

Alliance side? The only ones that really have it bad these days is the Gnomes and even then, it's just the lack of capital after 20 years.

Rokhan's problem is that he's literally just Vol'jin. Same personality, same class, same role. Killing Vol'jin just left us with Vol'jin with a worse model, less history and less connection to the rest of the cast.

When 90% of the plot is characters mumbling their insecurities at each other, nobody gets to stand out. This is the problem with copying OGs main story design but making parts of it skippable, if you're going to do an A to B to C to D story you kind of need to keep that ordering, if a player does part A takes a break and comes back and they're now throw in in to D and the have to back track to do C/B then its just going to come off as nonsensical and broken
