Has anyone here played "A Tale Of Love And Cutthroat?"
Many many years ago, when the game came out in Japan there was a trailer and I was insantly hooked. I was borderline obsessed with watching it, I loved the artstyle, the music, the character design. They revealed a new character/CG every week and I was checking the page every week to see the new stuff. But back then it was only available in JP. I waited a few years, but nobody seemed to care about it.
Fast forward a bit, I kind of fell off with reading VNs. A few days ago, I do not even remember how, I found out that the game was actually translated and just like that I am hooked back in after over 5 years I think of not reading VNs.
I feel like someone who woke up from cryo sleep, I can imagine a ton of new releases came out.
Anyway, has anyone here actually read this VN and can tell if it is a good read or just pretty pictures? It is CLOCKUP and I remember this VN seemed kinda fucked up. In one (optional I think) the MC gets tortured by getting his dick burned off but that is CLOCKUP for you, I guess. Either way, would you recommend reading it? I head it has little no to choices, so is the story engaging?
