As for the difference between ERP and Sexting, ERP is you writing in a more formal manner, usually, than you do with sexting. You separate character *actions* and what a "character says" using known symbols, like the ones I used to surround actions and character says. Without the symbols and "rules" or ERP. There are instances with Sexting where people share images and sound clips to fire each other up and to get off too. People, as far as I know, do not tend to do that with ERP.
