Lapis is finally not ass. I mean okay she still is but. Wilbert is Odin Bait himself. So her chances of staying up and actually doing something are much higher. Especially since most enemies are not going to be able to chew trough an Aether board and deal significant damage to face, and you get to swing with Lapis then. That solves the hard removal issue somewhat. Evolving Sarissa instead of Aether solves the William issue. The deck is brain-dead but it has some significant choices to make. For instance Vs Rune I do not mull for Wilbert for the simple reason my goddamn board is dead to William regardless of HP. So it's more important to get Aethers and Jeannes. Not that I would ever mulligan Willy.

You always want Ghastly Soiree. Always keep it if you have it. Otherwise, the other 2 drops are good to keep. Ceres if you're against aggro or going first. Aragavy and Charon are situational depending on the matchup and if you can set up Charon with what you have in hand. You basically always want to create awkward board states for the opponent and steadily pressure them and then try to make the board stick for a Cerb finisher. Vuella is also a huge play maker when you combo with olivia or other sevos.

Orthrus just doesn't offer that much. The deck has no problems at all with shadow generation with the new cards, Bellringer's draw is often more valuable than 2 attack, and her evo isn't too great either. I'm trying H&J and liking it so far. A lot more flexible and you can combo with Olivia too.

Abyss has to run mukan. Dragon has to run filene. Forest and Sword have to pray they don't run into haven with no response. Artifact has to run 3 doomwright and some puppets. Rune just continues their previous gameplan unhindered. Haven can counter itself
