I'll do my best to summarize it, it's not that complex she just suffers from Hoyo's wall of text skill descriptions.

Mash normal attack
Your energy bar is called adrenaline and does not benefit from energy regen, however, doing basically anything will give you adrenaline

If you have 40 adrenaline you can hit or hold skill to parry and then this launches a fully invincible parry combo.
The second attack in the parry combo is free but the third take 20 adrenaline. But properly parrying rewards 10 adrenaline so you can mostly always afford it.
So basically mash normal attack as filler and then mash skill to parry any incoming attacks.

Using the parry will give you technique points which fills a secondary bar
technique points allows her to use an ultimate that buffs her personal damage and gives a "point"
that point then lets you hold shift to do a massive aoe attack that I believe is also fully invincible
So basically when the technique point bar is full, ultimate and then immediately hold dodge.

She can also ultimate using decibals, this is just a fat damage attack with no special properties, you want to use it during the damage buff of her technique ultimate, and technique ultimate will be given priority if both are available.

Very late to the party but I just caught up to the 2.0 story and I liked it. My major criticisms was that there really wasn't much to do in waifei and the town as a whole felt like set dressing, too many filler encounters to make up for the lack of TV mode, and I feel like Dr. Kohl should have been a boss fight. I also think there should have been breather section after he fed himself to the miasma and then the Yunkui summit deciding to go after the Exaltists once and for all. That part was too abrupt.
The group was likeable. Fufu is easily the heart of the team, Yixuan is a flawed leader, and Pan is fun to both play and be around. Shiyuan is the only weak member by virtue of being non playable and mostly kinda being just a background npc with no memorable lines and character quirks. Definitely an improvement over Section 6 imo. Yixuan somehow felt less forced despite being the obligatory chinawank character than Miyabi who did mostly nothing until the last second in her chapter.

Sort of? To get all polychrome rewards in Deadly Assault you only need 6 stars, and that's with any combination between the 3 bosses. In Shiyu, there are only 2 sides so you'd only be using 2 teams. If you're new it'll just naturally take time to build up a handful of characters because yes it does help to have a nice pool of characters to choose from to mix and match a well suited team for whatever the content is asking for, but you're free to pull for who you like as if you invest in a character well enough they could still do decent in a bad matchup. This is my current Deadly Assault clear, I'm not using Miyabi, Yixuan, Astra or Yuzuha which would be the biggest game changers in terms of meta as the two best DPS and the two best supports.
