Humans:They're a very religious people, and for a very long time they were focused on getting justice for wrongdoings done to their people as a whole. There were once 7 kingdoms but now are combined under one banner, Stormwind.
Dwarves:A race descended from Titan(gods basically)worker robots, they were mainly 2 factions of Dwarves against each other. However recently, those 2 and a mediator faction have joined together against common enemies. Their main city is inside a mountain, considered one of the greatest dwarven accomplishments. They are an explorative race, focuses on protecting their own in the mountains and finding more about their Titan ancestry.
Gnomes: A race also descended from Titan robots, they are known for their technological prowess. Allies mainly of the Dwarves, the dwarves were shocked to find that the gnomes had developed advanced machinery and clockwork novelities while they had just discovered gunpowder. The gnomes have helped the Alliance advance far beyond what they would have been if they had developed their own technology.
Night Elves: A faction of elves that are very focused on nature and preserving their own. They have existed for thousands of years and are by far the oldest race in the Alliance. They feel regret for their ancestors faults and mainly seek to fix those wrongs.
Draenei: A faction of eredar, demon like aliens from beyond the stars, they fled their homeworld when it agreed to join the Burning Legion forces. These "exiled ones" represented 1/3 of the eredar and have been fleeing the demons for centuries. They have found allies in the Alliance, who also seek to defeat the demons as they have seen their destructive powers and are also very Light(like the force but like Catholicized) oriented. The Draenei are very religious and are ruled by the Prophet Velen and the Exarchs, paladins that rule over different sects of the draenei cultures.

Worgen: Gilnean humans turned into wolfmen. They were brought into the Alliance once more, under the Night Elves as the Dwarves did with the Gnomes, and Genn seeks to remedy his falling-out with the Stormwind faction and show that Gilneas now needs them. The feral Worgen and Gilnean Worgen now also team up against the Forsaken, a common enemy for both them and the Alliance.

Here's what you do. Always pick the red skip option whenever you see one.

>talk to guy next to him, pick red option "I already escaped the maw, take me to oribos"
>in oribos, talk to npc that takes you to the room with covenants
At this point you should be able to go to the Maw and the raid, however you won't be able to mount and you'll get feared. You can take the rat mounts that spawn around for 1 minute or walk there though, if you want to mount in the Maw do this
>talk to the guys in the center of the covenant room, continue taking the red skip options as they appear
>choose covenant, night fae is the fastest
>fly to night fae area, talk to the fairy, kneel, talk to the mother nature, go to the soulbind area, pick red skip option, keep clicking, activate soulbind and conduits, it's all on the same spot
>when it tells you to go to oribos and talk to bolvar, you are done
>go back to oribos, complete the quest, talk to the guy in the covenant room, pick the red options about korthia or something like that, there should be 2
You can now go and mount anywhere

The plague spread across the Northern human kingdoms and turned their corpses into risen undead. How do you defeat an enemy that bolsters their numbers with your dead? Ner'zhul was attacked and his control over the Scourge faltered, allowing many undead to escape the hivemind. These "Forsaken" sought to reclaim the land that they had destroyed and have reclaimed Tirisfal Glade and the city of Lordaeron. The Forsaken realized that everything on Azeroth wants to kill them as they want to the Scourge but sought aid anyway. The Tauren saw the potential of their redemption and inducted them into the Horde. They, like the humans, seek retributition against the Lich King and his scourge.

I just got kicked out of a heroic dungeon. The tank only kept pulling single groups and waited for them to be completely dead before going to the next one. So I started pulling for him. Is modern day WoW fun ?
Rolled a Holy Priest on the Argent Dawn realm (reluctantly Alliance) and did a few dungeons until hitting level 20. In the old days, I used to love running dungeons on repeat, so always played a tank or healer.

Felt a bit soulless with everyone just rushing through, and everyone being wildly different levels from different realms, and the drops kinda just appear without the fun little need/greed system. Also seemed too easy.

How is the community these days? Don't have any friends that play WoW anymore, so would wanna join the Nerub Silkweaving Forum guild.

the classes are balanced around those buffs, which is why a lot of people hated the legendaries during dragonflight, ret/dk/warrior were balanced around that axe so not having it was a big problem for your dps.
