Now I think Marza is owned by Sega but it's still kind of its own thing so for their cameo to work we had to get special permission from Marza and they were cool with it. Like that was some of the fastest approval turnarounds I have ever seen. Very thankful for them for being cool with it and for Sega not outright throwing out the idea and actually asking and everybody talking and cooperating to get it to work because that that was a nice little treat for folks. That in mind though, I would say that probably makes sure that they're not going to be showing up in any kind of major capacity because now we know they're not really accessible. We got this one off for funsies but I think anything else would require like serious negotiation and talking and that may not be possible.

It's still some weird division so we had to get special permission and kudos to the folks at Sega and Marza for navigating all that and getting the green light just for this little cameo for funsies. Some points I forgot to bring up that's interesting is that both love cards. For Amy, she loves the occult and Tarot Cards. While for Tails, he loves counting cards and rigging results. There's a lot of fun scenarios you can write that play with this.
Also, Tails helps Amy out of her shell in Classic IDW and helps her present her comic books and drawings to her friends. So you can definitely interpret them as being very supportive of one another's passions and helping each other in that regard. It's a cute kind of chemistry. I can see Tails giving Amy all kinds of suggestions and ideas for her to draw about while Amy could give Tails suggestions for cool things he could invent for her.
