I think the worst ones are the businesses, I had most the credit for all of them from legacy...
But some stuff was a pain, 100 specialist+ jobs from Franklin? Fuck man, that was obnoxious, some days I'd bang out 3-5, then I would go 4 days in a row without a single one of them spawning, the worst part was all the running to the computer to check if any was available.
Import Export was also a bit annoying, asking you to complete every damn list and the game refusing to spawn a car.
Exporting 50 cars without damage was easy, just time consuming, but that's super brain dead, I'd do 2 a day and not stress over it.
Honestly, the most fun was all the contact mission stuff, THOSE sounded like I would hate, but nope, they were easily the more interesting challenges to do.

Really dumb that you can't just use a color wheel alongside the preset color options. For the hangar for example, it literally fades the colors into the next color option when you switch them on the website and it reveals whole other possibilities of personalization. Why did they never add a thing that says "or personalize your colors!" if pricing is a problem just make it a bit higher than the presets and call it a day. Why should personalization be so arbitrary and dumb? There are games that literally do exactly what I'm talking about. The home base in Xenoblade Chronicles X basically does this. There are set things in the rooms for which you can change the colors but you actually have variety. What's the point in not having that? WHY?

I hate the whole 'dedicated delivery vehicle' system. if it were me, what I'd do is make it so you can use any personal vehicle you've got for any sale, and different vehicle size classes can carry more or less packages. on foot, bikes, sports cars can only carry one (or two with a passenger also having one), trucks and vans can carry more, and heavy industrial vehicles can carry even more. So you can choose how much or little risk you want to take, and actually use the tools you spent money on.

Roughly 3 months from aliens returning. I really wish they altered state of everything was prolonged. All month would be terrific. Same with the winter stuff in December. Or more variations at other times of the year. We are deeply embedded in the doldrums of mediocrity with our standard weather patterns right now.
I wish you could save character presets or save them in the form of a file that could be put into the game (kinda like what you can do in minecraft). You can screenshot the sliders and all that but it's hard to get them perfect. My character on PC is alightly, but discernably different from Xbox even though the sliders are almost exact. I want to experiment with other looks but I don't want to sacrifice my character's current look. Doesn't really matter at the end of the day I guess.

From what I understand it's effectively just a start bonus with select associated purchases related to the "path", and that's really it (someone can correct me if I'm wrong).
It ONLY MATTERS at the start, everything for each path will be available for you no matter which you choose, it doesn't decide what you will be capable of doing with your character. In other words it's just something that simplifies things a bit, giving direction for players, where they might otherwise be a bit confused as to what to do in the years of content avaialable in the game. All that matters when it comes to choosing is how well paying the stuff associated with your path are.
Each "path" is really just properties with businesses and/or missions associated with them, but realistically, you are probably going to be using multiple businesses associated with different things, so "path" is perhaps a bit misleading.

The chumash bunker I've heard is one of the best, but I don't know. I use the farmhouse bunker which is the other best one. The closer to the highway the better, because the city sales pay more.
Also, since you are new, my personal advice after 2000+ hours of playing, is, if you aren't enjoying it, don't force yourself, don't let it sap your joy, it's not worth it. I also personally found a lot of the clickbaity looking youtube stiff is just vain hype, there are lots of informative and helpful videos but do beware that their hype, all caps stuff, and flashy thumbnails MIGHT give you the wrong idea. I think it harmed my ability to enjoy the game when I was looking for the best ways of making money and doing excruciating grinds for hours a day after listening to those people glazing nothing.

The biker club has multiple businesses associated like the meth lab or coke lockup, but they all will for the most part give you multiple sale vehicles and it takes a long time to do it all. I don't know what's more lucrative because I don't know the times for those businesses so maybe it would pay better, but it would be more annoying, plus, you have to deal with raids (the timer for when another raid will happen won't count down when you aren't registered as an MC I don't think).
Bunker sales also have multiple sale vehicles but they don't take very long, with one exception being 3 insurgents with 5 drops. If it says 5 drops I just join a new session and reroll because that was made for multiple players. I always only ever did the 3 insurgent sales (with 3 deliveries) or the 2 semi trucks deliveries, because there was a time where the others literally couldn't be completed in time, but I think they upped the timer. You lose a bit of money every time you reroll. I don't know how significant that is, but I didn't really care, I always rolled to get the better sales.
It takes 20 hours of the game actively being playerd for supplies to become stock though.

Of course, not everyone is juse using that as a remedy. I think really this just gets at fundamental problems with the game's design rather than an issue of modding itself, no? If the reality of the game as dictated by rockstar isn't inherently good for the sake of it being dictated by rockstart, then it's possible that moving outside of what is dictated by rockstar (modding), creates a mirror through which you can see the problems of the games design.
The one thing that's good about the intended design is it creates form, so even if it's bad, you could argue that unfettered limitless modding would lack that and thus just make it dumb (as you've implied) and I'd agree with that, but how do you solve this? Again, it comes back to the game's design.

I have a number of problems with it, and they go beyond even the barriers to buying things, that is money, but what it does to players and the community in the game when they are placing themselves under the boxes that are those barriers, but that's in part a problem just because of how much stuff is in the game. There's so much that people lose sight of how to even be creative and have fun, and I don't know if it's even possible to bring that back in an orchestrated fashion, like the stuff (I've posted about it before) the people on rooster teeth used to do with these games I think arose naturally. The only preservation of that which I see are youtuber communities with their own little niches like Canuck In Combat and Cuckler with planes or that fresh guy whatever his channel is called, with car meets, and all of that. I'm getting a bit sidetracked, but people have seemingly become very compartmentalized by the games design-
