It's a Wyvern, an Vex enemy introduced in Beyond Light as a regular tough combatant. This one uses the model of a Precursor Vex Wyvern, which is not even changed in any way to make it more boss-like (which is strange because they bothered to make new boss Harpy models for EoF campaign, both as a Precursor and standard Vex model, even though their animations and movesets are reusing GoS/Watcher boss Harpies.

SE I'd say had a good mix of action/puzzle, boss, and pure puzzle encounters. Shapes is a kino encounter even if it's an IQ check for how retarded your LFG/Raid team is since it's "easy" to fuck up if you're below 110 IQ. Vow was pretty kino in all of it's encounters. Canyon was pretty much a 0 brain puzzle but it was fun. I think the issue is puzzle encounters are just too polarizing for your average raid team since it takes one retard that doesn't get it to drag your whole team down

Imagine if they get to a puzzle after their first boss (or after they clear all 3) and if they fail it, they get sent straight back to the first encounter.
It's the tradeoff for having all the bosses up at once.

The big hive titan in the water is a perfectly fine fight and i don't mind him having a shield for one reason. He isn't in the room when you're doing the mechanics. You don't have to worry about an invincible, suppressing, one shot mook bothering you while you kill the three wizards. Once you get to dps, his shield is stripped away in the first second or two, mostly because you can use typical dps strats against him. The wizard on the other hand, she fucks with you the entire time you're trying to kill the knight, line up runes, grab deepsight. Then when it's time for dps, she teleports around, gets pushed, glitches into the sky, etc. If she fell to the ground for dps that'd be fine, but as it is, her shield turns an otherwise decent encounter, into an 11phase solo

The fighting in Oryx's thrown world and Saint's (forma heterosexual) crusade buck broke the vex to the point they wanted one of the two factions to whipe the other before doing anything. D2 vanilla flirted with this idea that humans felt second class to Guardians and did nothing with it. In fact 70% of the campaign should have been you in the farm doing quests for the humans in your weakened state until you get your powers back and go off to stop Ghaul but no they just had you get your powers back right away and did nothing with that. They should have made some defector human general or human cult leader that hates Guardians that you had to fight for an expansion by now.

Fallen are quite literally human-tier except for captains and who's to say humans can't have mechas or guardians on their side. Or perhaps technology like beeg shields which would differentiate them from other factions. Humans being the puny race is pretty gay about the game too, since the only reason for the collapse was more so because they got mass violated by a gestalt god-entity who can warp gravity with their tech as well. Pyramid tech should be pretty much enough to get humans ahead of other races as an enemy faction but I doubt bungie will ever get creative with enemy factions. Dread were cool but was basically 4 models with two reskins
