Spamton has been trying to get into the basement and to the NEO machine since before chapter 2. We can assume it's the Roaring Knight leaving them, but that brings into question why it took Kris' help for Spamton to get his and why "his" crystal needed so much effort to get to, rather than the knight leaving it in his shop or one of the dumpsters he stays in.

Moreover, the entirety of chapter 4 was an argument in favour of Eternity, so chapter 5 will have to be an exploration of why the evil fuck gang chose History. Lots of flashbacks, lots of pining for a past that can never be their future, with Asgore right in the middle of it all.
Bonus points if we get a soliloquy from Asgore or Carol about how they wish Gerson was here to help them through this, but that now that they are adults they have to make difficult choices while the old man fortnite dances at them from castle town.

Noelle being justice doesn't seem all that right at the moment. She doesn't really fit well with any of the soul colors to be honest. (Maybe integrity or Kindness if you squint) I could definitely see her start to develop some Justice energy over time. Especially what she's like in Snowgrave. If she starts feeling the power rush of deciding who's worthy to live or die, then yellow will be a perfect color for her.
As for the last three colors, I really want to see Asgore be Bravery, and Lancer be Integrity. There are others who could also fit those colors, but I think those will work best in terms of story.

I want the characters to end in a broken home. I want a bad ending, but I want it to be related to the narrative, to the existing story. Rather than some entity like chara that fucking has no explanation appearing out of nowhere with "destroy the world powers" as a metaphor for deleting the game.

Okay, so I I just finished replaying Chapter 2, and gosh, the improvement compared to the first one is noticeable. I enjoyed it, and it's my favorite chapter so far. I also want to add that I liked Noelle and Berdly as characters (excluding the horny moments Noelle has with Susie), and it's a shame they're not party members in Chapter 4. I would have liked to have seen more of them, but hey, we're only four chapters in, so there's still hope.
Also, the fight against Giga Queen is one of the best in the game. It's creative and quite challenging (if you' suck at Punch Out like me). This is where Toby's improvement was most noticeable.
(Also it's 3 am in my country, i'm tired).
