He ends up with something like 1000/800/800/300/400 using only LB0 cards and a borrowed Kitasan and I'm sitting here with 800/700/600/300/300 at best.

My Guts cards were all level 1 and she got 7 Sleep Deprived (Including a night owl) so I got kinda cucked but with maxed cards and better RNG I think there is potential. This time was a failure as we are down potentially over 500 stats, but now that the dust has settled and my adrenaline has died down, I have came to the realization that raising the ultimate uma is not about taking what is most consistent pathway and only take reasonable risks(acceptable failure rate = total stat gained/2 or if over 50% main stat gained/2 ). I already have a good baseline so what I have been doing, making all these "mathematically" correct choices, are just using up my TP, farming sparks, farming fans, but NOT raising an uma that one would really be proud of. I have seen the light, the possibility shining through the cracks. I will reject the so called correct choices and significantly increase my σ (variance) at the cost of my consistency and by doing so I will be able to reach far greater heights than before. Will I experience lower lows? Undoubtedly. My Umas will break, they will lose, they will fail. they will cry, they will be depressed, but nothing of value will be gained if no pain, blood and sweat is never spilled on the tracks. It takes only one time to defy fate.

How to properly build decks. I'm currently building a medium frontrunner and according to a guide I'm reading the recommendation is 3 speed, 1 stamina, 1 power and 1 wit card. However, there is another guide I've read that says that your deck should only consists of 2 types.

Stamina is not a shit stat. It's a stat that you only need just enough of. It's only part of the uma's true stamina hp.
Stamina skill can be used to recover stamina hp and it's only relative to the max stamina hp NOT the stamina stat.
