Share a build? I played Valkyr almost exclusively before the rework, but haven't touched the game since before WF1999 dropped.

Considering that I never relied on her 4 for anything but healies, I fail to see what I lost. Only the box-breaking 3 lacking verticality soured a meme build. At the same time, I see that I can CO/BR/WW the fuck out of the claws and put an arcane in now. In fact, I started using her full kit and, in fact, rebuilt for 4. Since it doesn't have scaling energy costs and guns no longer remove her invulnerability because there isn't one.

So Tennocon and Destiny 2s new expac has ignited my itch for a looter shooter and Destiny is unplayable so im gonna play Warframe.

Yes since it saves you hours of progress and those Primes are likely vaulted. 2010 means you have been playing since BEFORE the Specters of the Rail.
You can just watch the starting quest on youtube and then go fight Captain Vor to get railroaded the way it should.
Back then it was just killing bosses and all, but now to Unlock the Planets there is a progression. The Solar Rails hand out the quests and likewise opens for other planets when the conditions are met (quests, bosses, scanning stuff) so now the sequence isn't as confusing.
So originally we'd be all over the place, now the Second Dream has a proper sequence for you to pick the foreshadowings properly to The Second Dream.

We DID make it to Tau- Mag Prime literally fought on the moon. It's just this was for the sake of the Old War. Orokin and Tenno did take the fight to the Sentients in very obscure bits of information, instead of letting the Sentients come to them. Only way this makes any sense is if Hunhow was just not involved whatsoever with the treaty and fumed in a cave like he does in the present day being angry about the devils until he had the chance to go apeshit about them again. The way the story's panned out, everybody knew the Tenno and the Warframes were separate. One way or another the lore's being rewritten, I don't think the treaty is an extreme case that some are making it out to be since we know the Orokin are constant liars and cover up everything that doesn't pan out the way they want it to, but some things just get kinda weird when you think about it.

I had the same feeling and I was really happy with the reveals that it was all just a facade: you shoot off the mask of the big mech thing to reveal a more sentient-like face and the new sentient character also drops their mask to reveal something more familiar. To me it kinda shows that it is only done as something to appease the orokin, same with the teacher wearing glasses, it is only for appearances. The sentients we know and love reinforce this, having stripped themselves of anything human-like and also the white and gold color palette the orokin loved so much. I'm really looking forward to seeing current era tau and how their aesthetic sense evolved after millenniums of isolation.
