MoP Zandalari were based beyond belief. BFA Zandalari were fucking losers. It's insane that a small contingent of deserts squatting on Lei Shen's front yard seemed so much more powerful and grand than the entire Zandalari Empire. They really fucked them up badly. Kul Tiras actually worked, despite all the problems going on in the zones you could actually see how they would function as a naval superpower. Meanwhile the landmass was called "Zandalar" but the Zandalari only controlled Zuldazar, and it was basically an empty jungle. Yet we're supposed to just believe they have a navy on par with Kul Tiras because... well they just do okay?!
Disappointing as hell because the Zandalari were always based and interesting since the beginning, and I had such high hopes after MoP.

So I said well do you think you're bi maybe and he got very defensive, saying how I need to drop the accusations and that this is the beauty of the gaycation, it allows straight men to "experience" gayness without actually being gay and how it's like going to an aquarium???
And again he was adamant he doesn't find men's bodies or genitalia exciting at all, but he needs to experience this apparently. I said well I'm really not comfortable because even if he was bi, this would be explicitly cheating on me and he got angry and reiterated he's not, because "that's the beauty of the gaycation" etc. I just had enough and left the room.
