Visit the different renown vendors for the free piles of crests to upgrade your veteran/champ gear with (no reason to save these for 11.2 because crests will be capped and you will have plenty of these shit ones from playing).
You can buy champ gloves and veteran boots from Undermine renown if you made it that far on some other char, Nightfall gets you a nice champ neck.
Also you can buy 350 valorstone warbound bags with a piece of random Champ dungeon loot.

Right now it’s 2x rep AND people are rushing to finish up undermine, once the rep goes back to normal, and no one is around for the world quest cauldron spam or 2x4 farming, how the FUCK are you meant to do 8400 tickets by yourself doing the trash pile event?

The event gives like 10-15 tickets per max bar, and takes 3-4 minutes with travel included, the bot costs 100 gold

That means on average, if you’re doing every trash pile event one after another, you’re looking at 33-34 HOURS of trash pile farming + 67000 gold spent on the helper bot to get max tickets alone

Colossal and demolish fucking suck imo. Execute as mountain thane feels more impactful.
The entire gimmick of colossal is pressing demolish. Demolish does fantastic damage but it's an annoying cooldown which sucks and it doesn't feel impactful cause the animation and damage numbers are so fast that it's just a blur. Same problem with rampage for fury just being a blurry flurry of swings and damage numbers disappearing just as fast as they appear, rampage felt a lot more impactful in legion when it had an extra swing in the animation and the ability wasn't sped up by haste. Demolish would be better off like legion rampage where they need to slow the animation and damage numbers pop ups and make them ultra big and juicy.
Colossal also plays like shit outside of pressing demolish. It feels so weak and plain. Mountain thane feels a lot better in general with the huge thunder stomps and lightning procs on revenge and execute hitting like a truck.

They even buffed their new tier set by like 300% and it's still worse than Colossus, which btw is not at all just about Demolish.
You get a knock-up effect with Shockwave (have fun stopping on Thane once everyone blows their aoe stuns and enemies are immune) and in 11.2, self healing they buffed but somewhat already nerfed because it was too strong.
Also having Demolish on CD buffs your other abilities' damage.

What I fucking hated on Thane was that one stupid talent node where you choose between Storm Bolt hitting 2 more targets, but increasing its CD by 10s, or Intervene putting up some shitty little shield on your target.
Like who the fuck picks Intervene. So you either gimp yourself with longer stormbolt CD which already fucks your Shockwave diminishing returns, or get a talent that will glow red because it's not in use.

Thane is entirely passive, you press the same buttons you did up until 71 even at 80.
And it doesn't even do more damage, which btw is entirely rng, it doesn't have more survivability nor any significat group buff that other warriors have.
You keep bringing up the 45sec, but it's always lower, often like 20 sec, especially with the haste you get now, which also turns it into super fact channel that you don't really need to think about.
rage is also no concern, I often just spam revenge because everything else is on cooldown, yet have enough to put in shield blocks and ignore pain.

Flexing is good and important I agree, it helps people get joy. but challenging is debatable, most things in this game are accomplish able. Things get nerfed a lot, you can brute force certain encounters with gear and if you're awful you could pay for a boost.
You just have to play a lot and you'll be able to achievement goals the only exception being maybe Arena.
It's probably healthier for the game if it's like that.

Just start your own key and put learning in the title or message the group before finalizing that you're new to tank.
Tanking is really only hard until you do the dungeon literally like 2 times, then it's super easy until/if you get to like +15s

If it's possible, try to rotate only like 4 dungeons until you learn them ok then rotate into the other 4 dungeons

Counts and routes and shit aren't that big a deal, cuz anything under 12s is easy to time

DBM is very handy in raids - it literally tells you when to swap with second tank. For dungeons also quite useful - it tells you what to interrupt, when to use defensive, etc etc. Good one to pair with DBM is GTFO - it will signal when you stand in some shit, and sometimes the shit is same colour as floor so not very obvious.
I've seen quite a few times tanks just straight say "first time in dungeon, pls ping the way" and thats it - someone will just ping you with directions (go to options and search for Ping function if you did not play for a while). So just tell it upfront and even make a macro for it, people are gonna be chill about it because it is gonna take forever to get a new tank lol.
And if you dont feel comfortable with your skills yet - just use single button assist, you will do just fine. All you have to manage are your defensives/taunts/selfheal because those are not included in rotation assist.

Ilvl increase is so blatantly stupid high that you can legit get 300% dmg increases from upgrading your ilvl by 10
huge stats increases to primary stats causes power creep to the point of an upgrade is the equivalent to getting a power star in super mario or just getting a 10k resource drop bomb in a rts.
Game being fast paced and with the above stuff makes it feel like you just dont outgear shit but you need to be on the treadmill (which isnt fun) compared to other games where the gear doesnt have the same effect.
WoW feels more like a high end roguelite but you get outmaneuvered and not fun.
No thought process in rotations, its basically "i build for this and use this ok i pop this this procced now so i use this" shit stuff that is dull no challenge
