The problem with Runecraft is that it is quickly becoming something that doesn't actually have a weakness
Aggro is Rune's natural counter - as it should be - but if they print healing cards for Rune then Rune simply drops AnneGrea then heals in the midgame, making the early aggression not matter whatsoever

Because Rune then has access to Satan + Dclimb, Rune then beats all control decks because they can auto win the game late when control decks are trying to grind out the match.

Yes it fucking does. What fucking decision points does it have to make compared to every other class? Dragon has to balance lamping with life and tempo loss. Artifact has to correctly manage resources. Rune has to correctly casino into a highroll. Roach has to save resources for their OTK. Abyss has to manage life. Sword is the only class playing full statted followers on curve wihout paying a cost. Their early game is strong, their mid game is strong, their late game is strong. There's no weakness to exploit, and there's no period where they're weak compared to other decks. They have free wards, free removal, free evo, free draw. They don't have to pay evo for anything, which means they use the evo to pressure you with face damage. The only thing sword doesn't have is healing, and there's no fast burn deck in the game to capitalize on that. It previously struggled with board clears, but they gave it the best card of the expansion that sevos for free on top of board clear.

NTA but it's by giving it more ramp cards. Most high cost Dragon cards are Ramp-taxed, meaning they're kinda bad for the cost you need to pay. The point of ramping is bringing late game units into midgame, and win it with the sheer difference in stats.
Ho-chan is the facilitator for that playstyle, making every card you draw from then on being discounted so you just flood your board with high stat units while also clearing theirs.
Problem is though, if you aren't ramping in the first place you can't reach her fast enough, and by the time you get to throw her out your opponent will have their late game units ready, which is better than your late game units because of the ramp tax.

You play her on an open board state with 12 or less hp, you die next turn. Opponent can pass with 12 or less hp against ginsetsu , and nothing happens to him. She's a 6/7pp tier card effect, not an 8+ (those need to apply pressure and win the game).

I don't dislike this matchup too much, early game you're slightly favored because you play more low pp followers and unless you get fucked by their curve really hard you have good chances
Neptune heal is clutch in this matchup, unlike what /svg/ tards pretend rune 20 -> 0 OTKs are not guaranteed at all so keeping your HP high is good. Of course you will lose to satan or kuon OTK sometimes but that's just how it is, just like they will somes lose to your dumb high roll shit sometimes as well
I struggle the most when they get a perfect grea norman kuon curve but that's some high-roll shit, norman in particular is problematic because you don't have many good answers in this pp range so you probably have to spend your entire turn to clear and at least 1 golem with stay on the board

Brother, I played aggro abyss for some time, I won only one or two games against artifact portal out of around a dozen. That shit was legit my single worst matchup and felt almost unwinnable. My overall winrate was still over 50%, but almost every artifact game was a loss. Early gamma followed by alpha later just completely kills aggro.
