I would install the dependencies manually (it's just drag-and-drop and there's only like 6), then everything else is also drag-and-drop. There is priorty that's determined alphanumerically. No other shenanigans necessary.

So why is performance so uniquely shit on my PC? Similar hardware gets around 55 average with the same, or slightly higher settings using the transformer model for DLSS. It's the only game where performance deviates at all from official benchmarks. No matter what, my performance is at least 50% worse than benchmarks in this game.

is there a mod to make trauma team turn up for downed NPCs the way ambulances turn up for downed NPCs in GTA even when the player had nothing to do with it?

Also yesterday I watched as an NPC driver went mental for some reason, smahsed into other cars and ran multiple people over. two nearby cops didn't react but when the player does something like that they're on your ass.

Honestly just turn on frame gen and cap FPS to 40-45 (sweet spot for minimal input lag, 30fps is too noticeable)

Way less overhead so you let your GPU have more room for load streaming to avoid a lot of LOD shit, you also honestly genuinely stop noticing the little artifacting that you do get when you actually play the game instead of nitpick all over your screen when benching/testing. Motion blur on high quality mode also helps to mask most of the artifacts and as someone who instantly turns that off in every game, it's actually implemented fairly well in cyberpunk

I just forgot to disable film grain and the CA shitfilter earlier. I have an ROG PG279Q IPS screen from 2015. Image quality hasn't degraded yet, but you could boil an egg on the panel during summer. DLSS 4 looks nice and sharp in most games with default sharpness settings. DLSS is very soft in this game, though. Here I'm just using CAS and 0.05 sharpening in-game.

Playing netrunner for the first time so I decided to change up from my usual V.

I'm aware but there's different tiers and it wouldn't need to happen for every NPC. It could be common in the corpo/city center area as its wealthy, while less common in other area, very uncommon in pacifica.

They could've also had drones turning up to put out fires the same way fire engines turn up in GTA if cars explode etc. I really hope they improve the world reactivity in the sequel as it's the missing ingredient, especially when GTA 6 is probably gonig to set a new standard in this area while cyberpunk was already notably less reactive/interactive than GTA 5.

Its not that. The form a space sim takes doesn't matter if the writing, world and story are nothing. Starfield failed because its writing was completely dull and uninteresting. There is more lore in any one part of Cyberpunk than there is in the whole of Starfield.
Case in point, I found myself playing Star Wars Outlaws because it was on sale. On the surface, you're flying between a few planets, doing missions and theres a main story to do as well. Basically the same as Starfield, but the writing and the world was a lot mroe interesting. I believe Cyberpunk wouldn't have been as succesful if the world wasn't so developed and fleshed out.

I like both. I think 2077 kills it so hard on presentation that it's just hard for me to consider them in the same league though. Backgrounds in Starfield matter more, but it's all wrapped up in that bad soundtrack and those stiff animations and that awful writing like the guy was bored and couldn't be bothered, and none of it matters anymore. Because I can't change the interact button for the hacking menu to be E, F is a bit awkward for an imsim interact button due to the amount of things to interact with. I liked Starfield well enough, but I find the world of Cyberpunk to be much more interesting and immersive. I just cared more about what was happening and was more inclined to explore and investigate. It’s hard to say exactly which aspects of the game contributed to this feeling but that’s how I felt. I think Cyberpunk’s writing, characters, and art direction were definitely contributing factors though. It’s all just a lot cooler to me. But both games are absolutely worth playing, in my opinion.

The average PC gamer is a lot less technically literate than they used to be, and you're dealing with people who can't even navigate a file system now so settings tweaks and having up to date drivers are kind of a tall mountain to climb for some of them. Everything was armored in the original system. The item descriptions even make fun of it. You could upgrade a tiny piece of fabric that barely covered your nipples into level 4 plate Armour. I think the devs just wanted a crafting system that allowed you to wear whatever you wanted so long as you upgraded it. I take it you're on the latest update? If so, yeah you gotta wait for the PM mods updates for it to work "smoothly" again like in pic related. Though there is a little way for you to still synch up the poses: don't move V, use a camera angle that puts V straight in the center (this can help there: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/17089) and then spawn another NPC, while keeping the straight in the center camera angle, move the NPC about 1.0 points on the "far" axis and V and the NPC should now roughly be in the same spot which allows you to synch up the couple poses, for now.

In short, you can still synch up the poses but you gotta position them by eyeballing it

I've wondered about this, but netrunning really goes out of its way to not say anything about what is technically happening, and as far as I know the kind of stuff you do in this game is not really similar to a netrunner's role in the actual tabletop at all and is more like outright magic (but 2077 is also later). At best, asking that question will attract clueless people who think giving a metaphor is an answer, which is always a giant pet peeve of mine.
One explanation is V just has PC bullshit powers and can do that a lot easier than it should actually be reflected in the world, but I don't know how well that holds to scrutiny.
The idea of corpos having vat grown monster dogs stuffed with bioware that are trained to track down and maul netrunners sounds really funny to me though

Pacing wise it feels like the heist is already happening it feels weird to run away from all the stuff that is right beside me, there is no indication I am supposed to take time to prepare and have time to do other jobs.
