Maestro is a better HP regen in Long races to begin with because it's not a flat regen based only on stam, it accounts for track length because track length is a major factor in your HP.
For Long races, guts is more effective than stamina until after 400 (or higher for longer Long races). 500 guts and 300 stam is significantly better in long races than 600 stam 200 guts, it might even be better than 800 stam 200 guts.

I think Beginning of a New Era is really good even outside of the sakuga, not sure what so many people's problem about Jungle Pocket are. Maybe it's because I've participated in competitive sports/esports before but a lot of her character and inner demons are very relatable.

The buffs to guts help it shine but the core benefit of it is already in game, it has the single highest stat total gain per training in the game spread across 3 different stats. A deck spamming rainbow guts training is going to have huge guts, speed, and power just off that 1 training alone, so you run stamina sparks and something like 4 guts + 1 wis card and you're good to go. When you run 4 guts cards, one like this easily makes the cut, because priority and friendship training are critical stats for making the build consistent.

as for what the guts buff entails, it has a lot of things like making guts determine your minimum speed, having guts determine how fast you leave the gate at the start of a run, who gets ahead when 2 racers are neck and neck, and a few other mechanics. you should probably just ask once they actually buff it because you're just going to confuse yourself learning it now and then having to re-learn it at anni 1 when only some of the buffs actually make it in right away.

I think I'm gonna drop the game. I've had my fun but there's nothing left. Once you figure out how things work it's hard to make mistakes; out of my last 15 career runs, I won them all, using mybe 5 clocks total. All that's left are sparks but given that it's entirely reliant on RNG, I'd really rather not spend ~30 clearing 1 run. At that point I'd rather be doing MD runs in Limbus, a game I quit because of said MD grind.

Danbooru's 2 tag limit is bad but Sankaku literally won't let you use any R18 tags unless you're logged in (and its definitions for what makes a tag R18 is ridiculous), and even then it'll still limit you unless you have a paid account. And of the small sliver of original content getting posted there these days, half of it is furry shit.
Pixiv has its problems but it is ultimately the origin and primary site of most JP artists. There are plenty of tools to make using it easy and filtering out AI is quick.
Safebooru is good yes, but I need R18 content sometimes.
