am now fully prepped for MoP. All profs are maxed, quest log is full, darkmoone faire buffs are active. I'm at Wintergrasp waiting to turn in the Victory quest which scales to 90. I'm going to farm all the mount achievements in the game in MoP then quit.

The climax of MoP was the fight with Garrosh, there was a short quest line and entire cutscene after that, plus an entire book that lead into the next expansion. You were also able to follow his tracks through a hidden cave on the timeless isle.
What happened after Onyxia? They forgot about it until Wrath came out, cobbled together a comic with a timeline that makes almost no sense and retcons the Onyxia fight to include Varian for no reason. 10/10 writing.
