I did the smart thing and ignored S2 until the most recent patch. I've been playing through it and I feel weird about how much I'm enjoying it. It's piss easy even on the Veteran, but I think it's fun. Granted, I also blitzed the main story to get access to Pripyat and now I'm just stalkan the Zone, taking in the sights and hoarding money and ammo while trying out new weapons. Years of playing the modded trilogy has spoiled the shit out of me and I have already optimized my loadout for the final push to the end. I'm too old and retarded to keep up with the community, so I'm wondering what the initial word is from modders now that the tools have dropped. Any major overhauls in the works? I can already tell I'm going to get bored after beating it due to lack of challenge.
