There were some changes from CotZ to some quests I think and I don't know if some scripts that worked with vanilla 1.4.22 need some rewriting.
They also added thirst with functional thirst meter UI element in the inventory and some more "drinking consumables"
You might want to just see the stuff yourself, since the mod has many small changes and backported fixes/features from 1.5 and more.

We won't bother you. This year has been difficult, but productive.

On the positive side, we would like to note significant progress in our work on the game world and the location. Many different elements and environment systems have been fixed or created from scratch: for example, effects for Explosion and the foliage wind system. In addition, we have almost completed the technical implementation of a dozen different quests. The team also worked on other aspects of the game.

However, there were also negative aspects. We can highlight the technical problems related to fixes of various systems after the transition to Unreal Engine 5, and the problems of our management. These problems have led to the lack of news and information.

Despite all the difficulties, the project is not frozen or closed. The development continues, albeit more slowly than we would like.

We thank everyone who supports and believes in us, despite such a long wait. Yes, this has been going on for too long. We understand this and really want to complete the development as soon as possible.

In conclusion, the Ray of Hope team wishes everyone a happy New Year 2025. We wish you good health, good luck and fulfillment of all your dreams! (and the release of the project, of course)

If new maps are your thing you should check out The Exception mod for CoP. It's a story mod and the maps are very nice. The story is a bit silly but it gives you a reason to wander around.

Here is the radio mod. It should work with most CoC forks and it's integrated into the "New Music in Radio" addon (https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/addons/coc-1422-new-music-in-radio), so that other traders also have a bit more music. Only the Bar plays SESH stuff. Deleted "5'Nizza - Soldat", since I don't really like that song.

Archive includes a tracklist (tracks 1 - 89 probably don't correspond to the list, since I renamed them in a batch with PowerRename) alongside a tutorial how to add songs yourself, if the selection sucks or is not to your liking. Joke textures are also included, even in their uncompressed tga format.

What are the best settings to fix lag in CoP EE? The only mods I have are the unofficial patch, weapon reanimation, absolute nature 4, and crazy zone. I can even play Anomaly without much lag. Yet this game, for some unforsaken reason, just stutters half the time, even on medium graphics and 1920p res.

Like in SoC Borov's gang is supposed to be just the biggest one of many others, in CS the Limansk bandits are unrelated to Yoga's gang, just like not all Loners are part of Valerian's group. And in CoP there's actually three different gangs - Sultan's, Shishak's and Jack's, but they're hardly any different from one another.
They should've made them more distinct or at least actually assigned them to different factions in the game files, like they did with the Renegades.

Honestly, I'm not sure how to differentiate. Essentially the issue is that, in populated places, my FPS would drop rapidly (to ~15-25 usually), and with it there also appeared a very noticeable input lag. Sometimes, it gets better when I look away, but the moment I look back it resumes. I did try limiting the FPS to 60, even 50, that didn't do much.
