I feel like it's a favorable matchup because most sword players are swordbabs(so a supposed 50/50 ends up being a 70/30) and Rune can clear their board and heal out of Albert range. I've come to the conclusion that sword is the most consistently good deck.
Sevo is the most important mechanic late game, and if you have more of them than your opponent, you're just going to drop a Sevo after they're out of momentum and win just by having this big, full-health brick of stats on an empty board. I see brainlets playing this deck and just fucking bricking anathema of peace before rally 20 when there are several other cards that can answer a board of 2-2s. 2 damage from Grimnir is too low to do anything against any deck but sword, most of their follower have 1-2 HP at most, but why would you go out of your way to counter a shit deck like sword? Just play normally and they'll lose anyway.

one of the gripes i have with wb: why introduce tapping and abyss from evolve but leave out other mechanics, eg sanguine, spellchain, necrocharge?
rune would be 100000% better to play against if you knew what they were capable of instead of hoping they didn't draw the broken card they needed and spellboosted it enough (they did). spellboost is unique and can only be implemented digitally, but it is going to be extremely aids when more spellboost cards are introduced. with spellchain, rune has to play SPELLS to charge it, and knowing how many spells they've played tells you what they could possibly do.

Dirt can easily highroll very aggressively at the start of the game with their Gold cards. with 3x Norman they can undo any aggro and 3x Odin means they can easily push in the last bits of damage
