It's definitely been a minute. I've been settled on Monica since it came out, and before that I was using Subleader's CCXL stuff. I mean I try all of ND's hears as they come out (except that last one that was like 60mb lol), but they always look terrible and I forget about them. Meluminary and Peachu especially I think have had a couple cute ones I don't see mentioned often. Think they might all be CCXL though...
I haven't browsed the full Wingdeer catalog in a looong time, but I would defininitely be curious to see Kinky with Belle or Venom. The Emma ponytail was my absolute favorite, but it's kinda the opposite of what you're looking for...

Oh yeah, Monica is up there as one of the best ones, but I can't use it on Kinky because Borg already claimed it. ND is mostly trash with 1 or 2 exceptions. Peachu ones look good be are way too stylized to be practical, and it true you don't see a lot of people talking about them or used them, which is weird.

The gimmick is that it doubles down on the replayable game design with multiple endings and sets restrictive time limits on every quest. Your normal happy ending is to simply do as you are told and complete all your big jobs for your choice of corp and make it out with a big paycheck, but the interesting endings require double, triple and quadruple timing everyone.

I'm not familiar with the Witcher games, maybe someone here is and can tell me how it works. Do "choices" you've made carry over between games?

My favorite example and something that I don't see often is the way Mass Effect handles it. Carries your save data between games and aspects of each can play out radically different based on decisions you made in previous titles.

Are we likely to get something like this in Orion or is that a stretch? Seems like most RPG sequels tend to go with a new character or a canon ending.

I think that's for the best, honestly. I feel like V's story is told pretty well already. You have room to imagine whatever ending fits you best. A new story can be told in a self-enclosed way, allowing the whole thing to just focus on itself and not be bogged down by the past. I ran it (without the break hold feature) my last playthrough and it spiced things up for sure. A good percentage of gangoons had good cyberware like optical camo, berserk, sandevistan, etc., and it introduced new enemy types like ones with grenade launchers.

Kek that V was not, no. I was running a couple more mods (Hardcore22V2, Guns Redone 3.0) that did a lot to level the playing field between V and enemies. A lot of weapons (e.g., snipers, shotguns from close range) could kill V with one hit even at level 60. Splash damage from any one of the multiple grenades he fired would have been enough to end the game. OTOH, V's firearms were more realistic as well, with assault rifles for example taking down mooks with just a few body shots or a single headshot.

Man, I'm having so many weird issues with 2.3. My camera just randomly decided to stop working on all my saves, but only if I'm on foot. It still works fine when I'm in a vehicle. Like it was working fine post 2.3, and then suddenly, I load in one day and can't look up or down, and I'm stuck with a zoomed in FOV. The bug is retroactive, as in, I load in an old save, from when things were still okay, and it's still doing this shit. I can temporarily fix it by sitting at a bar, but as soon as I load a save again, it's back again. I don't have any mod installed affecting the camera/fov/controls, either.

New character. It's what CDPR recommended too after 2.0 was released.

Stealthrunner is a ghey mod. It gives you 30 or so extra perk points and makes you feel obligated to play the game a certain way or you'll miss out. Doesn't add anything to the stealth system itself, only makes it the objectively best way to play the game for rewards. Honestly damaging to the experience.

It's not actually a "mod for stealth." All it does is incentivize playing a certain way above all else, which means you'd be better off not using it at all to avoid feeling railroaded. Dishonored has the exact same issue when you focus on stealth and pacifism. The game simply doesn't have meaningful progression tied to those systems, so you effectively bow out of the progression systems. Shocking that this mod is so popular.

There are definitely things I prefer about the '03 version. For lack of a better word, I think it has more edge. I preferred the way it handled the arc with Shou/Nina/Alexander for example. FMAB did a lot of great too of course.

I think most of the 03 openings and endings songs were super melancholic, fitting with the tone of anime was going for but god damn I love every single one.
It did some things way better than BH, like Hughes death, Nina's transmutations, just to name a few from the top of my head. 03 went was way darker and but it nailed most things. It did had some super weird shit like rose rape baby and the alchemy robot guy. Of course BH is a more complete story and a lot more cheerful despite all the very dark shit happening all the time.

If you are doing it like that you need the relative path, mesh and the mesh appearance. You can't replace it because that's a port with custom textures and whatnot from a stand alone .archive not an in-game item.
