E0S0 Phainon is like having a big bag of fries (meteors) and no sauce (buffs). Cerydra is like getting a small bag of fries (extra meteor) and a little bit of sauce.
E2S1 Phainon is like having two big bags of fries (extra meteor). You could get yourself a small bag of fries and a little bit of sauce on the side (Cerydra), but you should instead get yourself a big bag of sauce for all of your fries (Bronya).

I think an issue FF has is that her down time is so ass. She suffers from the same thing pre buff jingliu does where she get a few enhanced turns then feels like garbage trying to get back up. Also that she never really got any huge upgrades while break was still meta. Fugue was a sidegrade so FF didn’t get mega screwed by RMC and Lingsha was as well for her compared to Rappa or Boothill who massively benefited from them.

It is sad to see HSR go down this route. I really loved and had high hopes for this game. Even with the powercreep at the current level it would be acceptable, if theres SOMETHING TO FUCKING DO IN GAME and the story is not pure ass.
Firefly has never gotten a new support tailored to her. Every break support that came out were designed to be buffs for Boothill and Rappa that helped Firefly as little as possible unless you pulled for E2. For as much as people complained about Firefly being shilled, she was like the most aggressively ignored DPS the game has ever seen once she was actually out, and then 3.0 designed an entire meta around hurting her specifically as much as possible. She could only wish to get the kind of shilling that Phainon gets now, where they are designing entire characters to specifically only buff him. The difference is night and day.

When I was trying them together I'm pretty certain I got their full buffs with the correct speed tuning, but ultimately decided I liked RMC more over Bronya for how the 2nd Phainon alt would line up.

Redman is more so for being a wholly unique unique unit by being a modern design of the QQ DHIL archtype by removing the turn order constraints and mostly caring about raw SP per cycle, yet there's still some micro on how to pace your volleys.
The reason I consider their designs so good is because there are clear points of failure that you want to circumvent as the player while offering you a pay-off for navigating through that nonsense. They're fun and have clear room for upward growth in aftersales.

Took all my leveling mats, but it was fairly easy to swap Kafkek to a speedy eagle ult cheese outfit with Tutorial, 4k atk, 151 spd and a retarded amount of EHR.
Brick Swan however is borked. I don’t know how you’re supposed to get all those stats except more speed and more Atk except with def ignore clothes, then do it a THIRD time for Bricksilens.
