improved version of total british death. the cyder dragon core engine needed a single free body to make barricadeborg in order to discard the british after searching it, but i cut most of those for the ryzeals, which don't work well for that purpose. so i cut the cydras in favor of more level 4 free bodies that can act as the fourth level 4 you need a 4 mat alembertian if you open sword but no other ryzeals, and can potentially even make a 4 mat alembertian without any ryzeals at all if you draw enough of them. it is nearly impossible to open a hand that does not get a british into the graveyard turn 1 if uninterrupted. every card in the deck is either a 1 card foolish burial, or a level 4 free body, so the only way to "brick" is to draw all 3 british and 2 1 card foolishes.

I am the singular person in existence who is glad that Konami delayed the banlist (and this is the only time I have ever wanted a banlist to be delayed, period).
1. The format is not that bad. I'd even be so bold as to say I like this format. As far as meta formats go I find it to be very enjoyable.
2. If we got a banlist, all that would happen is the 3 JUHU archetypes would just immediately start dominating more so than we know they already are, K9VS in particular. Keeping the current stuff we have will only serve to make the format more open ended and less solved (though it still is somewhat solved, I personally think K9VS is uncontested as the best deck)
3. I want to see how Mitsurugi variants perform in this upcoming meta. I still think Mitsu Ryzeal stuff is exceedingly strong. OCG never got to play with Mitsu stuff so it's the one thing we have over their format.

It's been nearly 9 months since CRBR was released and the grand sum total hits to dominating decks have been 3 semi-limits. Mitsurugi at its peak has only been around for 3 months but again has been entirely untouched.
Nothing has happened to these decks, they dominated, and now they are getting replaced. Next, people will advocate to not touch Yummy or VSK9 because the next deck will dominate.
I am advocating for actually trying to balance the game with frequent, consistent hits to try and drag the power level down. When another set of decks, like Yummy/VSK9, come around then you hit them too to bring them down to an acceptable power level and do it FAST.
So this month, hit Mitsurugi and Maliss.
Next month, hit Yummy and VSK9.
Next month, if Yummy and VSK9 is still dominating, hit them again. If Dracotail pops up as a sudden best deck, hit them.
Drag those fuckers down to the post-balanced Mitsu and Maliss power levels decided prior.
If Artmage gets a support wave in Burst Protocol that suddenly makes VSK9 look like Summoned Skull+Axe of Despair turbo, then guess what? You hit it.
