PM writing is a hit or miss, the KJH keeps the world building aspect very vague so it gives him enough creative room to wiggle in anything that he finds cool at the moment, however his work on character development, conflict to be precise is a topic he is good at, and I reccomend LoR and Lob Corp because of that, if you value immersion more than character growth then the series isn't worth it.
Limbus is still in a weird spot for being unfinished, so no matter what I can't reccomend this game for it's "story" because there's none, the overall conflict and mysteries surrounding this game aren't complete
