Purple weapons get to T5. If you're actually going to use it you should max dupe them
Sigs can stay at T1, but T2 is a noticeable jump if you feel like maxing a girl out.

Sig dupes ARE quite powerful, but it's up to you whether you think it's worth it or not. There's nothing in the game you can't beat without a maxed cope weapon. Mostly for the rankings at that point, like in NS.
Cope weapons though, you should always max out. No reason not to.

Because they still haven't found a way to consolidate all the skins into one model. It would mess with the animations and poses because Seaslug were geniuses enough to make each skin its own separate model rather than actual skins on a base model.
It's also why the dorm models' hairstyles and faces aren't updated to reflect their latest iteration.
