But for those who are less diplomatic there is a Warmode that sets you as PvP and allows you to level through PvP. don't get tricked by the pve server, they only made it to split the playerbase and reduce queue times.

pvp server will have peacemode and more players, there's no reason to play on the pve server unless you care about queue times but they will be gone in a week most likely.

pve server will die faster than the pvp server and they already confirmed no realm transfers.

pve is better for short term, pvp is better for long term.

brown people will generally choose instant gratification, and whites delay pleasure.

I'm considering starting on the PVP server, but I'm also considering leveling priest for the first time. That's basically suicide if I don't immediately look for groups and guilds, right? You may reserve your names for Gurubashi by simply logging into the game and creating your characters on the Kezan realm. There is a limit of two per account at this time. Your characters will automatically be copied to Gurubashi shortly before launch. Names created after the Gurubashi realm goes live will no longer be copied over.

It should be noted that characters that have never logged onto their realm 90 days after launch will lose their name to free up unused names. We encourage you to log onto your characters at least once within this time period so your characters don’t get flagged as inactive.

If you want to tank, you'll have groups begging to join you. I remember on turtle I was a tank and my friend was a healer and we saw a group just needing a tank to do ZF and they had mallet. I messaged them saying I'd tank but they'd need to kick their healer, he said he felt bad about doing that because they were grouped together for hours looking for a tank but he still did it. It was very funny.

NTA, Turtle and Epoch are both Vanilla+ servers, only the base continents with new quests, dungeons, raids, battlegrounds etc. Turtle has been around for years and includes new zones and races, but a lot of it's custom content is low quality and glitchy. Epoch is about to launch and doesn't any new zones but has new quests etc. The beta tests for Epoch seemed to show better quality than Turtle but no one really knows at this point

I get that but Druid tanking is way easier, especially for leveling, so I dont think all the people rolling Druids will have a problem with it. Most guilds already have dedicated tanks for raids so I think tanking may actually not be in high demand. Druid players usually understand that they're a hybrid class and play it for that reason whereas most warriors just want to DPS.

the key to good pvp in any game is that regardless of the situation, there is a winning chance. in mmo this does not exist. if you're outnumbered you die, if you're jumped you usually die.

take souls pvp, or back in the days quake 3 clanarena or rocketarea, when you're facing a ganking squad of 3 twinks or are outnumbered 10 to 1, a good player still has a chance to annihilate all of them and win. this makes it infinitely more enjoyable than an mmo.

The new WC looks way way better if you wanted to see it. Its got a much larger ravine with an actual river flowing and bridges crossing it. Many of the paths have streams running down it into the river, which lead into a waterfall and a tidal pool chamber. Its way more open and cavernous.

They arent making changes with PvP in mind. PvP is going to be so broken it will be completely unfun unless you picked a healing class.
They made 2 big design decisions which make healers power exponentially better in PvP.

1- they took away hybrid tax. now healers can do a DPS classes damage but also heal themselves or an ally to full in a few seconds just like a regular healer can
2- they are adding a stat just for PvP that reduces damage you take from other players. This makes health pools more efficient in PvP which makes healing health pools even more effective in PvP

This shit is COOKED. anyone who understands how WoW works knows that this will be a total shit show on the PvP side of things.
If you want to have fun with PvP then pick a healing class then bully the people who rolled PvP without knowing any better until they inevitably quit and the PvP server dies.

PvP balance is going to be so bad no one who plays a class other than healer will be satisfied with PvP. In classic wow it was assumed that class balance changes as you get high in levels and different classes become the leading PvP classes. Some people might tough it out hoping balance will get better at 60, it wont.

Vanilla is very very easy. Classes have insanely basic rotations, some being literally one to three buttons.
If you don't want to get yelled at while leveling in a dungeon just do this: follow behind the tank, let the tank pull, let the tank establish threat for like two or three seconds, then start dpsing the target the tanks been hitting and you will be fine.

i feel shadow is also alot faster up to 40, nn to skill in disc besides wand. you can still heal any dungeon and have no downtime questing. I like putting 1 point in spirit tap, wand to 5, fill spirit tap to start out. 1 sneaky point in blackout is a pro tip, i personally wont go silence since not going for pvp this time (if you are def skill it). if i find a guild ill change to disc/holy at like 55 for brd. first the whole shadow side, then fill up disc side after 40.
