So what was that whole ending part about? Is it meant to imply Frog is stuck in the Lost Beyond after she got stabbed and then promptly drowned? Abby says she's still alive but once Rover and Frog actually started fighting for the gem it all felt so slapdash compared to the solid pacing prior to that fight.

I also like that we got to see way more of the Fractsidus and that their plan seems to involve multiple Threnodian frequencies paired with the Grand Architect seemingly hating that a small group (I assume he means humanity in this instance) is being looked down upon. Honestly, I just want to constantly focus on these guys because they're extremely interesting as a whole and every time they're around they constantly give way more life to the world by explaining how it works under the hood or how Rover doesn't know the whole picture.

I'm fully expecting Rover to have reset their memories specifically because the previous plans of addressing the TDs failed which would explain why the Sentinels and Black Shores would have to make new countries and each are running their own experiments (Jue on military applications to stop TDs, Imperator on using Echoes to handle tasks, Tethys to run infinite simulations on TDs and the Waveworn Phenomena).
I'm also fully expecting this isn't Rover's first memory reset and it's happened more than once. I just don't see how we can have that He Civilization, the CSC, and the Fractsidus and that's not something to do with Rover, especially since seemingly everyone knows at least of Rover's actions, beings who are older than 100 years know of Rover, and Rover's constantly spoken of in various texts including Jinzhou's ancient documents.

About Phrolova, i feel like people are missing the plot a lot when it comes to her motivations.
Ever since the meteor hit she's existed for a single purpose, Rover has nothing to do with this.
Yes she was hurt that the first person that understood her and was in a similar situation to her made a promise to stay with her that he didn't keep (i also think they were together for much longer than the story alludes to), but that never changed her agenda/goals in the slightest. She had numerous chances to hurt Rover if she wanted to.
Rover didn't hesitate to cast judgment on her because she was too far gone in her obsession of bringing her village back, and would've never stopped regardless of what he said.
There's also another layer to it.
We spend the whole main quest stopping time with her powers, she also stops Rover and others with her right eye when she removes her bandage. Yet she never removes it once when she was fighting Rover at the end, why? Her flower on Rover withers, why? She doesn't stop Rover's sword mid flight with her powers?
That's because deep down she wanted to die, that's why she taunted Rover at the end, she wanted to be free from her suffering and integrate with the sonoro sphere, this was her main plan all along.

Can they even do that? It was my understanding that TDs are basically just chaotic jumbled up frequencies that eat up other frequencies and simply mimic what they consume while combining the frequencies with itself. It's like if you scribbled on the same spot of a paper with four different colored pencils. You may see the colors there but you're not separating them out anymore and trying to do so will just destroy the page.

I'm really interested in general how it all works though. We know the frequencies of people caught in Sonoros can seemingly interact outside of the memory of the Sonoro (Changli and XLY), the frequencies of people in Retroact Rain can interact with people (The piano guy if I remember right), and your frequencies seem to linger after death or just in place in general unless a TD gobbles it up which is why Retroact Rain seems to work like it does.

We also know the CSC was testing frequencies like with the Mechanical Abomination and the Fractsidus can merge TD frequencies into people (Albeit, not at a 100% success rate since that guy in Mt. Huanglong died while it happened) so the question is what if Rover figured out how to actually modify frequencies which allowed immortality and memory wipes on demand but it wasn't enough to figure out how to "correct" TDs or the Waveworn Phenomena?

I think you can trust the skit for the most part despite doubling as a trap. There's no real reason to divulge that much information about Rover or herself to Rover, especially not of the Grand Architect. i did the main quest and loved it, i wasn't too into the story before but it was so well presented, i loved the camera angles, the use of compostion, i wish they played with negative and postivie space more. I loved the water sections and the environment they really improved the music and sound design. It's artsy but so well made

I loved what they did and i wish i payed attention to the story more to appreciate the little things here.
My only real problem is that the map doesn't have much to do, i did the entire map and gameplay elements in like an hour after the story.
Also Fenrico didn't seem like much of a boss, there wasn't too big of a build up.

Okay, I consulted the data banks lmao. From what I understand, Lady Flora awakened at Petalfall Village without memory, the villagers took care of her and for this she defended them against a Lament. The Black Shores got involved, she meets Rover for the first time. Her intimacy level 4 story also states before Petalfall Village, Lady Flora constantly undergoes memory wipes because she kept jobbing the purpose she was built for (hunt down the Rover).
In conclusion, Camellya has had her memory wiped several times. Before 2.5, Rover is confirmed to have done it once. But Rover's scene in the Ouroborous symphony house seems to imply Rover may have done it before, several centuries ago.
