On a humorous note, there will probably also be more scantily clad e-girl characters willing to dip their toes into PvP if they can play with a partner, so that's a bonus for my aesthetic tastes.
All in all I'm looking forward to it, even though I doubt I'll duo queue much myself.

So, for starters, I'm pretty expressive irl by default so I often just use myself for references. Like if I'm nervous, I usually smile and lift one side of my lips in the process. The bottom lids come up, eyebrows raise, etc.
While I feel like subtlety is the name of the game when it comes to expressions, like a single small move of the lips can wildly change the degree of articulation in the expressions, I also follow people on twitter that I think do good expression work like @UsiMhagalha and, just to jerk them off because they're a local, @SeltoTreu for creative inspiration. I mention subtlety because a lot of people do well with less subtle, more expressive faces and I actually respect that a lot instead of insisting on what's familiar for me.
I think being in touch with emotions and understanding the host of body responses that accompany them helps as well. I never have this chart open while I'm working on something, but I do peek over occasionally when I'm struggling to expression some more nuanced.
Finally, expressions are a lot in the face, but body language and composition can help to sell the expression too. When you're defensive or uncomfortable, your shoulders are usually up and your elbows are close to your body. A raised clavicle and a head tilt can be like 50% of the expression.
Those things help with vision and articulation, but for actually working with paperdolls or ktisis... It's a lot of position movement in very small degrees. Rotations are only useful for curling eyebrows or lips by using the red axis. Everything else is position. Also, expressions are going to usually look like dogshit from more than one angle, so just cheat as much as you can.

Ok, I want to play the Feo Ul kino but that means enduring a deep dungeon. You also apparently have to get to level 50 of PotD, which I have never done (I think I got to and beat the second floor boss before I declared it cancer and quit). So what is the absolute easiest job to take solo so I can get to 50 quickly to be ready for Pilgrim's Traverse? I was on RDM last time but I have seen some claims that WAR is easiest to use.

Expect way more couples with matching last names in queues now. For the more advanced scene, I think with with the changes we're seeing to MP, there will be certain "duo comps" that are going to rise to promenence, I was talking to my friend last night who brought up how terrifying BRD is gonna be in setting where the class with the most forms of CC + an MP drain can now burn people's MP much more frequently. BRD+NIN, BRD+WHM, BRD+RDM, I can see all of these giving people immense grief.

So I've started to make this headcanon story, or at least the keypoints for one, for my character and adding golems as characters from that story, I also want to use the CGI cutscene WoL as well, and I want to use them to make gposes. I already have a few ideas in mind, I just need to get around to finishing the golems, and the finer details. And I think that headcanon can assist with ideas in the future, outside of recreating something I've seen elsewhere.
Other posters I have spoken with have also suggested drawing out the ideas you have in mind. To help with composing the idea for that gpose.

Maybe he (I'm assuming he?) has a sword and there's something significant about it, maybe it was buried somewhere or the handle reminds him of a certain place? That could be the basis for a location, just have to ask weird questions that could set your creative path going
That or you can just do /emote /facialemote and hit print screen. Sometimes that works too! Doesn't always have to be a big production either so don't think everything is super serious- it's all fun

I can't remember when they've said it but yoship has mentioned before that with the amount of jobs that the game has now more and more players swap jobs around and that's why they design roles similarly so players struggle less to play a different job within the same role.
If job design catered to hardcore players then jobs wouldn't be homogenized since yoship would expect you to learn every job individually and only hardcore players would give that much of a shit to learn 21 completely different rotations.
Job balance on the other hand is an entire number issue, 2 jobs can play entirely differently and still do the exact same dps.

Designwise it's kiiind of another choice to lower the skill gap of players. It's still going to fuck over newbies who just panic Purify the split second they can't control of their character since they'll OOM themselves super fast, but it's going to really help the people who don't do that but also aren't practiced/autistic enough to track people's purify CDs. Now you'll just always know when you can CC someone or not, and even if they purify it that means you've effectively done 15k damage to them.
This also just leads to more reliance on team burst/focus targets, which has been what DT PvP has been going for the whole time, because less time on Resilience means that if you just chain CC someone they either die to the crowd control or die to their MP running out and not being able to Recuperate anymore.
Before seeing the balance changes this also means that the CC removing abilities like Warden's, Aquaveil, and SCH LB get a really huge buff as well when they were already insanely strong abilities.
