>What is Project Epoch?
Project Epoch is a new World of Warcraft Classic+ private server. It delivers an expansion's worth of new content to the world we all love adding fresh areas, stories, dungeons, and challenges across Azeroth - built on the robust and modern foundation of the Wrath of the Lich King client.

>What are some of its features?
New talents, with 51 points available at 60. New spells. Reworks and brand new areas, zones, dungeons, raids, and items. Project Epoch's PvE realm is crossfaction, meaning you can talk, group, trade, friend, guild, and raid with the other side. But for those who are less diplomatic there is a Warmode that sets you as PvP and allows you to level through PvP. There will also be a separate PvP realm with all the features of the PvE realm except no cross-faction. Any benefits you'd have gotten from the PvE realm's Warmode challenge are now enabled automatically on the PvP realm. Check the Discord for more information.

After many questions regarding server longevity, Epoch devs have made it clear they will not let your characters go to waste. In an instance where the server population falls off significantly, (however unlikely) the Project Epoch team has an end-of-life plan to preserve your time and efforts. Secondly, a lot of people are concerned about faction balance with Gurubashi. Epoch will be enforcing a 53:47 faction balance to preserve the integrity of the server.

Will wars be good in poochie?
First time in a PvP server, second time in vanilla (and first for tBC/ WotLK balance on top of that), so I know I’m gonna get gigaraped, and thus planning to level a second char when the inevitable ganker decides to not let me play with my main.
As I already played an alli in Turtle before the chinese invasion I’ll now go with a warlock (only class I played, thus slightly reducing the asspain) orc.
But what the hell do I do for the second? I’m thinking of tanking with a tauren warrior, but while in one hand I saw warriors being great in vanilla, in the other everyone says they went to shit in tBC, so I dunno if they’ll be OK in epoch.

You can’t learn if you don’t try, and the concept of world PvP seems like the only way to do a true MMO, instead of a normal co-op game, so I want to check it out at least once. A shame there aren’t mechanics to impede griefing, but it is what it is.

As long as it is a good tank I can endure it (also will try to duo the open world with some healer, who I assume will also get frustrated in PvP). But I’m open to go for other class if it’s garbage in this server, thus why I’m asking.
