How important is parent affinity. I've been using the gametora affinity calculator alongside my only 9* (special week) and found that this combination provides a huge amount of affinity to most available umas. As I have the 9* special week already it's just farming up a 9* Opera.
However, I did a couple Taiki Shuttle runs to complete the special race missions and she ended up being my 2nd 9* uma instead, but her affinity calcs are dogshit, like 100 less than if she were opera on most child umas.
My question is: Does it actually matter that much?

It doesn't sound like a lot but consider how many races you're doing per career and it adds up, same with Director giving you skill points and Otonashi giving you stats when you train with them
